We just happened upon this place when I searched for vegan dessert in Lakeland. We were beyond pleased with our experience and our desserts. Everything is vegan and gluten-free. I had a scoop of chocolate ice, which tastes just like a fudgsicle, and banana ice - soo good! My husband got the Sonic ice cream, which is toasted marshmallow flavor, and he loved it. We also got pints of pistachio and butterscotch cheesecake, so we were able to try a good mix of flavors and it was all delicious, dangerously so. We are looking forward to our next visit!

Great food and great staff!! The steak was tender and the blackened and BBQ chicken were very flavorful! I had the Sriracha sauce which was great!! The broccoli was great as well as the kale slaw! I cannot say anything better than amazing for my first time here! We will be back! It also helps that my wife is Celiac and she was perfect eating everything!

I love Mission BBQ and appreciate how the Manager Ashley always takes care of my special dietary needs. I have extreme allergies and Celiac Disease… Ashley takes care of the meals with a smile! Thank you Mission BBQ and Ashley… what a blessing it is to eat out and feel safe with the food I order!

Excellent service for customers with gluten intolerance. They have a wide range of gluten-free options and are very knowledgeable about cross-contamination. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended for anyone with dietary restrictions.

Was really hoping to love this place, but, highly unlikely I’ll ever return or recommend. My fiancé has a nut allergy, and can eat at places with nuts but can’t eat nuts themselves. This just means we have to be careful about ingredients and expect companies and restaurants to take enough pride and care in their product to ~want~ to make it accessible to anyone that wants to eat there. When we asked the worker if there were any nuts in the gluten free bread, we were told “oh we threw out the box so I can’t check ingredients. I’d suggest you just not eat here.” So, he wasn’t able to eat anything. Which, fine, whatever, throw out packaging, but at least have an ingredient list available for reference - to not do so is absolutely insane. I got the buddha sparks bowl, ordered it with an egg, didn’t receive said egg and when I asked about it, the same worker said “I didn’t hear you say egg”. So, no egg for me. Bowl was heavily dressed with a very overpowering dressing. Didn’t enjoy it at all and threw out more than half of it. Juice was fine, nothing special. Definitely not worth another visit. Can’t say this was a pleasant experience in any way.
