Excellent dood and service today from Snow City Cafe. Lillian waited on me at the bar while Derek helped me find a great place to sit. I ordered eggs Benedict, gluten free version. They’re well versed enough on it that it didn’t take a lot of conversation (thankfully)! The place is hopping this morning! The restaurant is clean, spacious and bright with lots of windows. I’m here for work and it’s my go-to place for brekkie in Anchorage!

Did a search for Gluten Free Food near me, and this came up. Skeptical, we walked in and sure enough, they have gluten free buns, and even gluten free, dairy free oreo milkshakes. My wife and kids were thrilled. It was a new place for us to try and we'll be back. The only disappointment was the fact that this location has only on bathroom, and they were out of paper towels when we washed up. I let the employees know, and they promptly fixed the issue.

Showed up to Red Robin 9/5/24 during lunch to a near-tantruming waitress in the bar area. The host kept seating people in her area, and instead of asking him to reseat or help, she spent the entire time complaining very loudly about everything. "I just want to run away" "I've already had a thousand dollars in sales, and I just got here", screaming into the kitchen, all while throwing the other waitress under the bus, and barking at her every time communication was attempted. Everyone seated in the bar area looked like scared school children, eating quietly and nervously. After 20 minutes of waiting at the bar to place a takeout order, we finally just place an online order. It took an additional 30 minutes for the same waitress to acknowledge that we had been waiting for awhile. She then hastily punched in our online order and messed it up (I have a gluten intolerance, put multiple gluten-free indicators, still got a wheat bun - wonder if anyone in that restertaunt ever had a loved-one ingest allergens because absolutely nobody at the resteraunt cared to clarify?? I wish I could have vomited in your parking lot but instead i ended up on the side of the road). Apprently, this was all the fault of every employee that refused to show up that day - LADY! Bartender, whatever you are, who refuses to wear her nametag, YOU are the reason they dont show up to work. And to the black shirt slow-moving manager, get another workhorse. She is ruining your staff. Never again.

Amazing burgers and the gluten-free buns taste really good, not crumbly or dry at all. You get plenty of fries as a side, though you really need to like garlic for the garlic and cilantro fries because they put in a lot. The service was great and patiently answered all questions concerning their handling of allergies. Prices are really good, food was amazing and service lovely, can only recommend!

I called Raising Canes to see if they offer the naked chicken option for people with gluten sensitivity. Daisy let me know they do offer it and let me know which fryer it would be fried it. Daisy then called me back to double check that I knew which fryer it was going to be in and that she'd inform the staff who would be prepping the chicken how it should be cooked. Her customer service was above and beyond and I appreciate Daisy for making sure I understood how my food was going to be made!
