This restaurant is a real gem! I have two sons that have Celica's disease. It is very hard to find true gluten free restaurants. From the moment we stepped in, the staff was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about gluten-free options. The menu was extensive, with clearly labeled dishes, and we were able to create a fantastic meal. Even the dessert was a showstopper. The food was flavorful and delicious, and we left feeling satisfied and impressed. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that has Celica's Disease.

GF waffle was meh. I have celiac so I am judging in comparison to GF foods purely. The cheese had a crust on it like it was American cheese that had been overcooked and the peppers were cooked somehow such that the skin was still super tough but the meat was mush. The service was also quite slow. The savory choice didn't work out. I do not appear to have been glutened however, so a star is earned back for that.

Shout out to Bryan, who always takes care of us when we come into Mission BBQ. He knows my daughter’s allergies and makes the best gluten-free fries for her. The Charlottesville Mission BBQ is like a going home to a kitchen that cares for their family. Thankyou for giving such a personal experience to bbq and making a little girl’s day with your excellent fries!! My 7year old daughter’s review: OH MY GOSH SUCH A AMAZING PLACE 10 STARS i love the food there so many cool people anyways keeep it UP! 💙
