Gorgeous venue with a good list of gluten free options on the menu.
I love that they've gone to the effort of making GF Yorkshire puddings for Sunday roasts.
This was an invite but it's an honest review.
FANTASTIC MENU! Excellent Gluten Free options, and options that suited all our parties.
I struggled to choose my meal because of the delicious menu.
We'll be back.
The first time I came here it was so different from other restaurants that I had tried that I didn’t really get to appreciate what it was, but I was still left deeply satisfied so I kept it on my radar to try again. Now I’m just mad at myself for waiting this long to come back! The experience on the second go was much more digestible (no pun intended). I hadn’t realized it was a set menu, but found it very refreshing to not have to choose everything to eat. There was such an impressive array of flavors, textures, foods, and food groupings, presentation, and the service which I really appreciated because my partner is gluten-free and they did the best to accommodate her. The atmosphere side is very relaxing with low lighting and intimate table seating. Overall, you don’t want to miss this place if you’re living in or passing through Melbourne and love this kind of food.
We were looking for somewhere to have drinks and a light meal after a show at the Meat Market. I couldn’t book for our late time online, so I called and spoke to a super helpful staff member who managed to fit us in and let us know about their late-night menu. When we arrived, the same person greeted us and showed us to a table in the cosy dining area. We ordered one of everything from the small menu and it was all delicious. Our friends were gluten free and there were a number of options on the menu for them. My chip-connoisseur husband even said the chips were among the best in Melbourne! Fantastic service and seriously good food—this place is a gem.
Visited this venue on a Friday late night for dining, most other restaurants in errol st had already shut. Plenty of parking around.
they offer different bread options, seeded bun, brioche bun, beetroot bun, wrap, pita bun, lettuce bun and gluten free bun. Their sides include curly chips, sweet potato chips, onion rings, loaded fries, chicken nuggets, arancini balls, mozzarella sticks, spring rolls, hash browns, and salad.
the burgers were on the pricey side, and tasted great.
Well spaced out and pleasant locale. Parking nearby was pretty easy to find. The menu was not extensive however all were very happy with their meals. The staff knew their stuff which was nice. Considering there was a vegetarian, a coeliac, and a dairy free eater. Highly recommended.
Superb service. Great coffee. Fine food. Large menu. Good for gluten free.
Observed most customers to be regulars. Paid parking on street. Lovely outside seating.
Still a leader after 2+ decades.
Great little set-up with a straightforward menu and ordering, brilliant coffee, and service with a smile! I love the gluten free coconut pandan brownies and get one with my coffee every time. Hidden gem on the edge of the city.
