June2024: update on probably the best customer service in Melbourne :) I now have to change my review to 5 stars after what Pushkar did since I made my original 2-star review. Not only did he immediately refund my payment, he also offered a complimentary GF chocolate cake - same thing I ordered - so I/we can enjoy the real thing. Due to events beyond our control, we had to move far from the western suburbs and could not actually enjoy the complimentary cake, sadly. That said, I felt the genuine effort of Pushkar to make things right. Super appreciate all your efforts, Pushkar and team :) Hope to enjoy that cake soon!
March 2024: I ordered the GF 6-inch rich ganache cake for my sister-in-law’s birthday. I was excited to have found a vegan dessert shop with GF options (with high ratings!) because it’s near Werribee. I’m super sad to say the family didn’t enjoy the cake as much as we expected. The good: the flavor of the ganache was really, really good! It was chocolate-y and just the right amount of sweet. Only, the cake itself was off. We have tried gluten free cakes before but the texture of this one was different. I’m not sure how to describe it exactly but it was like paper mache (this sounds so old school haha). Also the price is a bit steep for the size of the cake. Disappointing :(
I hadn't been to The Brook for a few years as I didn't know they could make (coeliac safe) gluten free meals. Tried them this week and was delighted to see they have decent gf menu items (not just salmon or risotto) and a separate gf fryer. I ordered fish and chips and it was so good! The batter on the flathead fillets was light and crispy and the chips were really good. I loved my meal! Friendly, helpful staff and a really nice atmosphere. My gluten eating family enjoyed their meals too. I'll be back soon!
Finally we got the actual vibe of Malaysian food at Pointcook but one thing I would say that they should have some Gluten free options as well. Overall, we r satisfied about food with nice greetings of their staffs.
Will be back surely
Delightful experience.. Food is extremely good….. I will say Indian western fusion.. you will definitely enjoy food and vibes.. Very friendly staff and service when we visited this restaurant. Well done guys. I am very pleased with your hospitality. Naan breads are so soft and so many vegan and gluten free options.
Was pleasantly surprised to find awesome vegan gluten free dessert options here! Usually I miss out. Really high quality too and great coffee. Thanks guys
Staff were lovely and catered for my mum who is coeliacs, they went through all the precautions to make sure her food wasn’t cross contaminated… So many options to choose from and tasted amazing!!!
This place is the best for Greek food in the western suburbs. As a Greek woman myself, who is unfortunately gluten free (🥲) I’ve got plenty of options here and the food tastes great! Only qualm would be how loud the music is, but that’s fairly normal for a restaurant.
