Three of us ordered the 'Surf & Turf'. We all loved it. Two of us agreed that it was the best tasting and most tender Scotch fillet that we had ever had. Because I have a gluten intolerance, the Chef whipped up a glutenfree creamy garlic sauce for me instead of serving the prawns without sauce. Our waiter, Damien made us feel welcome. We enjoyed the whole experience and will be back.
My sister and I are both Celiac and I am having a major surgery next week, which means I’m on a very strict diet with a long list of foods I cannot have. I ordered a salad and there we’re a few things I had to remove and ask them to replace it with other ingredients (eg, instead of the pesto dressing I asked for a teaspoon of olive oil). Not only did the staff listen to me and give me exactly what I ordered, but they also lowered the price of the salads.
My sister ordered an omelet, and although there was only a couple of gluten free options, the omelette was delicious and they also lowered the price for her as she cannot have the toast. The lovely lady serving us (I think her name was Geneva) was so patient and understanding, even though it was a busy time of the day. I only wish I had known about this service earlier and I would have come to eat more salads before my surgery.
The only fault I could find is that there was not too many Gluten Free options, however the options that were there, could be throughly enjoyed.
They had gluten free options to cater for coeliac including a dedicated chip fryer. Service was friendly and helpful. Food was tasty, big portions and well priced, this included the $20 Rump meal with mash and salad, Chicken Ceasar salad and the Narry Burger. Would definitely go back again.
