Cute little restaurant with very friendly service. Both men were super friendly.
My husband and I tried a savory and a sweet crepe. Gluten-free, of course, because we'd read they were delicious. We can only confirm that; the crepes taste fluffy and heavenly.
It's worth a visit; if we ever come back to Genoa, we'll definitely eat another crepe there. ❤️ Simply a dream for those with celiac disease.
I took gluten-free focaccia, delicious and at an affordable price.
The croissant was delicious!! At the right price!
The sales assistant was kind and helpful.
Highly recommended
A wonderful restaurant. The gluten-free focaccia and focaccia pizza were truly incredible. The waitress was very friendly and funny. Highly recommended.
Had lunch to celebrate my daughter's communion, 16 of us.
High quality food, excellent preparation and presentation, both for the 'sea' and the 'land'.
Quiet, well-set-up and "scenographic" environment.
Excellent service, great attention to customer needs (celiac person above all).
Exquisite owners, friendliness, availability and welcome well above the Ligurian average 😆
Adequate price and respectful of what has just been written: experience, professionalism and quality are certainly not free and you can't expect them to be.
We will definitely return and recommend it to everyone.
Nice location, friendly staff. Pretty good food, except for the gluten-free pizza with a ready-made base (I wouldn't recommend it, get something else).. I expected much better given the AIC certification for several years.
Decent normal pizza
Local in the Porto Antico of Genoa with homemade pasta, also in the gluten-free version. The restaurant has some seats both in the internal rooms and at the tables outside. However, booking is recommended. I ate some excellent Trofie with octopus with Taggiasca olives and cherry tomatoes and a very good SG mixed fried food
AMAZING! We had such a great experience at this sandwich shop and truly the best sandwich I’ve ever had. The owner was lovely and very helpful, she spoke perfect English and was able to make such good recommendations. We are gluten free and vegetarian and they had lots and lots of options. Such a great little spot!! Highly recommend.
What more could you want, a typical Genoese trattoria, on the sea, plentiful dishes, cheap price, and delicious food. They also do gluten-free. Friendly and kind staff.. everything was excellent.. from the starter to the dessert. A fantastic day.. we left there full and happy with the excellent food.. we will definitely be back..

Pizza of the highest level for all types of palates and also gluten-free dough.
Restaurant with always fresh high-quality products of the Neapolitan tradition.
Everything very good even the service despite it being Saturday fast and professional.
We were passing through and ordered 2 gluten-free takeaway pizzas. Delicious and highly appreciated as they are thin, well filled and tasty. Often you find gluten-free dough that is thick, heavy, undercooked and therefore indigestible. And unlike other gluten-free pizzas, they are also good the next day.
Very nice restaurant with outside tables overlooking a small square or the quieter inside area. AIC certified. Friendly staff. We had a gluten-free pizza and an octopus. The pizza wasn't bad, in fact the only thing was that the base was a bit disconnected from the topping, probably because being a frozen product it is first cooked in the oven and then filled (and then maybe put back in the oven for a moment) and therefore it gives more the idea of a topped focaccia, but overall it wasn't bad. The octopus was a bit overcooked and therefore was a bit rubbery, but the flavor was very good. For dessert we had a panna cotta and it was very good. Good coffee. In conclusion I would happily return.
The ice cream in this shop is labeled as containing no gluten coloring or artificial flavors. There are many styles to choose from. They are smooth and delicious, but the price is a bit expensive.
We ate fish and pizza, all good. It offers gluten-free dishes. The waiters are very kind, youthful and welcoming atmosphere. Located in the port square, perfect location.
Highly recommended. The pizza is delicious and the staff is super friendly. Gluten-free pizza is also available. However, reservations are recommended on weekends.
We had dinner here with friends, a really pleasant evening.
The incredibly fast service, the very tasty pizzas (full of selected quality food) were a bit reminiscent of Neapolitan pizza. My gluten-free dough was thin and with a low edge, really excellent and light (even though I chose a white pizza with 3 cherry tomatoes) this place is suitable for celiacs! I also ate the gluten-free dessert!
In short, a great gluten-free pizza!
We were all very satisfied!
The staff is kind and helpful
Correct quality-price ratio
My favorite gluten free pizza!
For those like me who have an intolerance and have a rather sensitive stomach, there is nothing worse than the anxiety of feeling sick every time you go out for dinner (more than once I have gone to even prestigious or formal restaurants and come out knocked out)... At Vicolo, however, I play it safe. I am among the few in Genoa to have a really good, soft, light gluten-free dough; the ingredients are excellent, in short, pizza is a pleasant experience for me; the service is always up to par, the relaxing and welcoming atmosphere, the clean environment. Ours is now a fixed (almost) weekly appointment. Thank you!
We have known the Donne del Vino association for a few years and given the positive experience of the previous time we decided to repeat the evening in Recco. The reference winery of the evening was Tenuta Carretta of the Miroglio family.
We ate two starters: a very good sea bass tartare and the excellent focaccia from Recco, all paired with Alta Langa.
First, pansotti with walnut sauce, while second, "Ciupin" (typical Ligurian fish soup) with Canorei.
To finish we tasted an excellent dark chocolate dessert combined with Carretta's Moscato d'Asti.
Super organized for gluten. Very good and kind Paola (and obviously all her staff!)
Unfortunately disappointing experience in this tavern. Young waiters, okay, but inexperienced; they brought the first courses before the appetizers, the wine arrived a quarter of an hour after the glasses, with the meal almost over. The gluten free option is appreciated, however there is a lack of vegan options (as a lactose intolerant I found milk and derivatives in almost all the fish-based dishes). Pleasant environment, in a basement room inside a historic building, dominated by an imposing vault. Average prices, but decidedly high considering the service. Poor wine list, with a poor choice of Ligurian wines, of which only one red can be ordered by the glass and this was absolutely not worth the price.
Different types of dough (normal, spelled, gluten-free, 13 cereals, ...) and a menu divided between pizzas, pinse, special pizzas and pizzas "made by us", for an infinite variety of flavors that will leave even the most refined palate satisfied.
for those who are celiac like me, unfortunately I do not recommend the place. I had warned by phone at the time of booking and at the time of ordering, advising me to take the seafood risotto. The dish was contaminated and I felt sick. At this point I would have preferred sincerity, offering me grilled fish. Contamination is a serious thing and it really makes you feel bad. the environment is nice
A sought-after place for its gluten-free options. Their specialty is obviously meatballs, served in all possible ways. The food is also very good, with a wide selection of typical Genoese dishes. The place is a bit crowded, but pleasant. The staff is kind and very attentive.
We ordered 2 pizzas, one was on the gluten free dough. Taste of senza glutine pizza: 1,5/5 - I added a half point as the mozarella buffala was good. Pizza was sinking in tomatoes and the dough itself tasted like a fried hungarian langosz. The normal pizza dough was also bizzare. Not recommended.
10 cum laude business lunch. I have celiac disease and they served me in an enchanting way by preparing a pizza for me as a substitute for bread (I will eat the rest at home this evening). Both the first and second courses and also the pizza bases are available. Impeccable service. friendly staff and excellent value for money
It was a very positive experience, from the welcome to the dessert and definitely to be recommended. We tried two appetizers, a first course (homemade pasta), a second course and a dessert (exceptional) and we liked everything. Most of the menu (and all the desserts!) was gluten-free and so my wife was spoiled for choice. There are also some vegetarian options. The portions were right and the price was adequate for the quality. The place also has a beautiful view of the sea and the owner was very friendly.
Amazing food! The freshly made pasta was wonderful, and they have great gluten-free options as well!
Went with a friend and we absolutely loved the atmosphere. Everyone in the staff was so sweet and patient with our terrible italian 😅 Would love to come back again if I'm ever in Genova, highly recommend!
A great discovery. A specific gluten-free menu suitable for celiacs. From appetizers to desserts. Highly recommended. They give you a bread basket with various snacks.
Great experience at this pizzeria in Genova! We had gluten-free pizza and it was delicious—crispy, flavorful, and one of the best we’ve tried in Genova. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend!
I would say prices are too high for focaccias. 15 euros for a gluten-free one, nothing exceptional among other things and 10 for a normal... burnt one. 2 I was each. for a place setting...with barely the essentials. Forget it..overrated.
We chose this restaurant because of the mention that they offer gluten-free pizza. When we got there, we asked briefly whether this was the case and we were told that they had gluten-free pizza on offer. We then chose two pizzas, but unfortunately the menu was only available in Italian and could not be translated, which made it difficult to find the pizzas. Please note that certain pizzas are delivered without tomato sauce, so the ham is placed directly on the dough. It's definitely a matter of taste, but it worked for us. The ham or the cuttings are freshly cut in one piece by the machine.
Although the toilet was handicapped accessible, many of the dowels were already out of the wall, which is why I doubt anyone would be able to hold on to them. In general the whole ambience is ok. but I think we could make it out of it.
Since we were so hungry we completely forgot to take a photo, but the pizzas look very appetizing and inviting.
