I called at 9.02pm, there were 2 of us, to ask if it was possible to sit down and eat a pizza and that we would be there in 5 minutes, after the hesitation of the girl who answered the phone and putting me on hold, almost annoyed she told me that it was possible . Having noticed the frustration, I say that if this represents a problem we can also do takeaway, to which I am told: "no, no, come along, but it's not like it's 11, eh?". Now, I say, a customer for years and we have always turned a blind eye, once because I order a gluten-free pizza and it is delivered to me with gluten (I have celiac disease), but luckily, recognizing the dough, I eat a bite and immediately inform the pizzeria that he immediately takes care to prepare me a gluten-free pizza, a second time we ask to sit down, I admit that time it was 9.30 pm, they make us sit but always almost in ways that seem to do you a favor, a third time whoever comes when taking the order at the table he speaks in a polemical tone for a change requested while ordering. I am aware that working for the public is exhausting, I myself have been working there for 20 years, but yesterday's episode was the straw that broke the camel's back. Evidently the methods should be reviewed and we should be aware that competition exists. Last night we were welcomed and pampered in another pizzeria in Viareggio and you apparently lost only 2 customers, but also all those that a celiac customer brings with her when she goes to eat in a pizzeria that also offers gluten-free

What can I say, everything perfect! Beautiful discovery! In the beautiful Piazza San Francesco in Lucca, a very well-kept place with exquisite proposals, pizzas also with wholemeal flours, burgers, also vegetarian and, I think, vegan proposals, menu also for celiacs. Excellent and friendly service. First courses also from the Lucca tradition. We took the Lucchese tordelli with meat sauce, very good, and the multi-grain pizza with vegetables and parmesan. Exquisite! Thank you also for the Bau Pizza which our dog really enjoyed (they make pizzas with veterinary advice and barley flour, I think, designed for dogs and vegetables). Thank you for your pet friendly and inclusive philosophy. Well done! Keep it up! Until our next visit to Tuscany and Lucca.

Great safe GF / Lactose free options. Good GF PIZZA and Veal with Mushrooms. Good wine options. Reasonably priced and great atmosphere on the Piazza.

AMAZING !!! Succulent cuisine, perfect service, very nice setting at a very reasonable price. Mention for their calzones and very nice gluten-free option. Go there with your eyes closed!
