Went for the first time yesterday with coeliac daughter, had to wait for a table as was busy but didn’t have to wait long at all. The whole experience was amazing. Daughter had a great meal and didn’t feel ‘different’ she loved it. Hubby and I had the tiffin boxes and was just divine. Had different curries in the boxes so we could share. Amaxing meal
What a great find for our breakfast this morning. Greeted by two friendly staff members, who were most accommodating to our dietary requirements (Gluten Free). Our order was taken & cooked fresh, when served to us, we were not disappointed, all was enjoyed & our plates cleared.
It's a tea room serving breakfast, sandwiches, tea & cakes, etc. It's on the highstreet with parking for 3 to 4 cars.
A big Thank You to the team that were happy to help us this morning.
We've been to chiqutos many times before and coeliac with a dairy allergy have been always satisfied with a naked burrito or burrito bowl that they have served
This time how ever it resembled the worst type of microwave meal I have ever seen ( it did come out of the microwave because we watched him) no attempt was even made to make it look palatable
We did speak to the waitress who did absolutely nothing but bring the bill
We visited Frankie and Benny’s for my son’s 9th birthday and we had a great time.
Two of us have coeliac disease and found plenty of gluten free choice on the menu, especially on the kids menu. The kids menu is excellent value - £8.30 for a drink, main, side and dessert.
We had Mike as our waiter who made our night. He entertained us no end and made my son so happy on his birthday with how funny he was. He had all of us laughing and we really appreciated the effort he made.
I would have given five stars if you don’t keep changing the menu for the worse for us celiacs. With every change, the options are further limited. We ordered burgers- essentially just a couple of beef options and that too mostly without signature sauces. The manager Nazir was cooperative and I don’t fault him at all. Service and ambience is superb
Sadly, I'm not a fan of this eatery. The table staff were efficient, though its a bit of a rigmarole if you or a member of yur party have an allergy, as TGIF dont trust waiting staff to take that order and refer it to a manager (robot) who will repeat again and agin "its a gluten intollerant bun".
The food was ok(ish) - slightly overcooked and a little lacking in taste for me. Not that I intend going back, but I'd never have the loaded fries again either.
The standard fast food chain restraunt atmosphere wasn't helped by frequent renditions of some hellish birthday greeting song that staff seemed to be forced to gather around and sing to "unlucky" birthday diners! That in itself was enough to put you off your food. I might count myself lucky we only had to endure it 4 times during a mid-week meal ...dread to think if it had been a more popular time!
As usual the food was good, but the service was awful. It was late enough in the day and was getting quieter. But the service was poor. Asked for water 4 times, given three menus for four people, asked for a gluten free menu, gave a normal menu, the table next to us was cleaned of some bowls but left food all over the paper matts, waiting staff were arguing. We will be back as I like the food, but the service needs sorting as it was an embarrassment.
first time trying here and it was amazing! my mother has recently become celiac and they had a huge gluten free selection on a seperate menu so she was spoilt for choice!
the food was quick, piping hot and very tasty- and very well presented!
loved all 3 courses we had.
plus all the staff were lovely, friendly, informative and attentive!
special mention to Lucie + Lisa who served us throughout + ended with Mia who were all great, thankyou!
will defo be back soon- maybe try the lunch menu next time
