We had a delicious, fresh, and unique meal at Quiessence. The service was impeccable with high attention to our experience and dietary needs. One person in my party was vegan and gluten free which we confirmed ahead of time. Upon being seated, the menu provided was standard and looked difficult to accommodate which made us worried at first but they assured us that everything could be modified which was true and done so very thoughtfully. I will note we did the 4 course meal which was expected to be 2-2.5 hours and we were there for over 3, probably due to the modifications required. It wasn’t a problem but we were feeling antsy by the end, so just be aware and perhaps plan to eat a little earlier if you will need mods! Overall, a very enjoyable and special experience for absolutely anyone to attend, would highly recommend!

We went last night and had the worst experience! We were having a girls night and they brought out salad and bread and I said thank you but we can’t have bread and croutons… Kendall looks at us confused takes it and walks away. Brings back soggy salad that’s been sitting in the dressing for hours. She then takes our order and doesn’t come back for 20 min and ask “do you need anything else” we didn’t even have our entrees.
The food was bland and over cooked. I asked for no carrots and gotcarrots, the rice on my friends was over cooked and she also gave us baked bean and said these aren’t gluten free but left the beans anyways. Why would you leave something we can’t have after we had told her. She would pass by and not look at us.

So happy to have found a BBQ spot that truly understands celiac safety. They go above and beyond wiping everything down, washing hands, changing gloves and knives, and even using a separate cutting board just for gluten-free orders.
