Red Robin was one of my go-to places to get a gluten free burger with confidence. Too bad there isn't one near me in Statesboro, but when travelling, I always look for one. The one on Washington Road in Augusta turned out to be no exception. Good food and great service is a staple. The only mark on a great experience was being sat in a crowded part of the restaurant instead of where there appeared to be many open tables. We had diners to the front, back and side with one large table occupied by two screaming kids whose parents and abuela were obviously used to it. Everything else was perfect.
Despite recent poor reviews this restaurant has a rating of 4.4 so maybe they had a one off or something, our family decided to give them a chance. We arrived, seemed like a cool vibe. They had a bar and TVs and who could mess up pizza. We sat and I asked if they could put the NBA playoff game on. If they didn’t have the channel or something that would be one thing but I watched the waitress walk over to the computer where they input your order, went to take another tables order and input it and then when she returned to our table just lied and said that the channel wasn’t available... an NBA playoff game. NBD I guess, I’m there to enjoy family and the game would have just been nice. So we settle in and order pizza, a white pizza( one of their specialties) and a gluten free meat pizza, large and 10’ respectively. Both pizzas were well underdone and rather bland. All the recent reviews were right, this place is mid at best. I’m not sure how this place has 4.4 stars.
We were given a Cork & Flame gift card a while back and decided to use it for our anniversary! WOW!!! The hostess gave us sparkling wine for our anniversary before we were even seated! Amber, our server, was excellent - knowledgeable and attentive. She helped my wife choose appropriately with her gluten intolerance. The food was tremendous, from the appetizers, to the main course, and to the desserts. And for our anniversary, one of the managers (?), Rian, surprised us with a complimentary bottle of red wine from the year of our wedding! And to top it off, they wrote ‘Happy Anniversary’ with caramel on the plate that my dessert came on. The restaurant is definitely expensive, but they earn it with their food and their service, and the little touches that make it an outstanding experience. We will definitely try to find a way to come back for special events in the future!
Always professional always open to creating custom cheesecakes and gives me the option to have dessert with friends and family by offering gluten free options! I recommend this artisan cheesecake to absolutely everyone! They also have regular and vegan options and the presentation and taste is unmatched!
Delicious as always. Love the gluten free bun offering. Customer service was excellent. I didnt quite receive what I ordered and they fixed it within a minute with a smile.
My mother has a gluten allergy, so eating out is hard. When we saw that Ruby Tuesday had gluten free options, we got excited and headed over. When we got there we asked for a gluten free menu and were told they did not have any printed, but we could use the website for her to look at. We could not get the menu to work on our phones. So instead of taking a chance we went to leave. My husband let a waiter know why we left. But another employee named John came out into the parking lot and told us of the options which were more then most places. And he found a phone for my mom to use as a digital menu. It was amazing and so sweet. He really made our lunch a great experience and helped us find another place for my mother to eat at. Thanks again!
