They have gluten-free options that are quite tasty. Overall the food is good, it's pretty dark inside around lunchtime, but it's quiet enough to visit and enjoy good food. Servers have good suggestions and the staff go out of the way to make it a pleasant experience.
Best gluten free pizza I have found so far. Love the pizza not impressed with the customer service.
The employees make me feel as if I’m burdening them by even being there. Not sure if the 3 times I’ve been there it’s just bad timing. It’s a shame I really do like the pizza, but if you’re looking to find a place where you feel welcome, this might not be the place.
Their food is exceptional, the mushroom burger had me tripping on that secret sauce- 10/10 in flavor. The gluten-free wedding cookie was well-balanced & created the crunch us gluten-free folks crave. Shout out to the bronut, Ezra; what a warm and positive reflection of the quality of this place. I will go out of my way to return as an out of towner. 🍄
The food is always consistent here, and I really appreciate the fact that I can eat the french fries here because I have to remain gluten-free. They use a separate fryer for their french fries. And if you order a grilled chicken sandwich, there is an option for a gluten-free bun that comes wrapped separately from the rest of your food. This is the only fast food place that I eat at because I have to be gluten-free and I have no reactions from their food. It is my weekly or monthly splurge!
I absolutely love this hidden gem in downtown covington. The baristas are super friendly and their food is all made in house. The atmosphere is also very calm, making it the perfect spot to study or have a coffee date. Absolutely love their variety on the menu and their gluten free options!
Such attentive and warm staff. The food was delicious and fresh. Great ambiance and vibe. Only recommendation I have is to add more gluten free / food allergy info to the menu and train staff to be more aware. That seemed to be the norm though in most places in New Orleans so they’re still new to the allergy game. Unfortunately for some of us, it isn’t a choice.
I’m a writer and love to frequent local coffee shops. Haven has secured a top spot in my lineup! I have celiac disease (severe gluten allergy) and the staff has always made me feel safe and heard with my dietary concerns. Their kindness is like a big hug and their food is *chef’s kiss*
I’m a fan of the avocado toast on Gf bread w a side of sweet potato hash. Their grits are HEAVENLY!
Their chicken salad sandwich is delicious as is their pesto chicken sandwich.
Drink-wise their matcha latte and OG latte w almond milk are my go-tos. In the near future I’ll be ordering an espresso martini bc it’s unreal that I haven’t already.
If you’re looking for great food, an open and airy atmosphere, and kind attentive service. This is your spot.
Nur’s is my go-to for delicious, clean, fresh food on the go. Whether I’m grabbing a hot lunch or one of their delicious salads or dinner for my family we are never disappointed. Plenty of gluten-free options too! And they have the best hummus around! So good!!!
If you haven’t made it to The Greyhound yet, stop what you’re doing and make a reservation asap. I’m so upset with myself for not experiencing the Greyhound sooner. Everything was delicious, service was fantastic and as a Celiac (person w a severe gluten allergy) they were beyond helpful + extremely knowledgeable in helping me find safe items to eat.
It FELT like a European atmosphere and the menu is phenomenal. I mean LOOK at this beer list! This place is a gem in Covington that I highly recommend.
Great pizza, great staff, great prices. I'll be back. The only thing that wasn't good was the crustless pizza my gluten free person ordered. It was extremely watery. Probably be cause pizza needs crust. 🤣🤣
Large selection of healthy vegetarian and gluten free lunch options! Their original super salad was incredible- also ordered turkey on top. Chips are offered as a gluten free option instead of crackers. They have kombucha, sparkling waters, etc. Great place to find truly healthy options that taste great
We got into town in the evening and checked into The Southern hotel. We didn't feel like getting back in the car, so we looked for nearby places and I'm glad we did! The food here was very good, it wasn't too busy and we all enjoyed our dinner.
Price was reasonable, and we got pizza, meatballs, friend chicken sandwich and the spicy tots.
Do not miss out on the spicy tots - awesome. My wife has dairy and gluten sensitivities and we were able to get several items that were delicious and met her dietary needs.
If we're in town again, we'll definitely be back!
We actually ordered to go, but the staff were awesome and catered to my gluten-free dietary needs. Needs. And the staff even had water's to go ready for us even though we didn't ask for it. It's the little things that make a difference! Thank you!
Super impressed I am vegan and gluten-free and they helped me get food and I’ve been traveling all night and I’m starving. They made me hashbrowns with margarine instead of the shortening and then I had mushrooms, onion and tomato added into them and I just added some salt and pepper and Walla Delicious very nice people working there
I am Celiac and not a lot of gluten free options are offered but I had the chicken salad scoop with truffle fries and it was absolutely awesome!! Ate in the boxcar which which was a very fun atmosphere! You really need to try this place - you won't regret it
Great customer service and our cold brews were delicious! The coconut milk substitute and gluten free options were absolutely refreshing to see. I also love the frozen lemonade option for my three year old son.

We had Chef Charmaigne Benson cook for our family at Little River Bluffs. The meal was excellent, best lasagna we ever had and it was gluten free! Everything was delicious! Her and her assistant were excellent! Highly impressed and recommended!
We dropped in on a Tuesday afternoon at 4 pm for a snack on the way home. This place is incredible, even during odd hours! The atmosphere was colorful, the food was delicious, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We had a low carb bowl and some nachos and both were well seasoned and not heavily salted. Our server told us that some days they even have gluten free empanadas so we will surely be back to give those a try!
I just can’t get over the stunning decor. Really neat spot, can’t wait to bring folks here.
Visited last night for my husband, mom, and grandpa’s birthdays! Our party of 15 was well taken care of. The food was delicious. I’m gluten free and this location made it feel like a breeze. I enjoyed the herb crusted salmon (no breadcrumbs) and rosemary potatoes with a DELICIOUS lump meat crab sauce on the side. I know the fried bow tie pasta had to be great with the spinach & artichoke dip, but it was divine on some celery sticks as well! Will definitely be visiting again.
