My husband went to the half off burger night. Asked to bring home a burger for me which we completely understand that would not be half off. He let the server know it needed to be GF as I have celiac. It had a normal bun on it so unfortunately we had to throw the entire meal away.
I discovered Ember after I drove by it a few times and I decided to give it a try. I work from home and am always looking for a coffee shop to login in from to break up my day to day. Before Ember, I hadn’t really found anywhere that I would consider my go-to place for a cup of coffee or to get some work done. Now any time I have the chance to work remotely, I head over to Ember! The coffee is on point, they have gluten free options, and the staff are incredibly kind.
I love how cozy and charming the atmosphere is and how they have built a space to serve the community. As the mom of a toddler, I appreciate the Kids’ Room. It can be a struggle when you want to bring your little one to get coffee with you, but you know they will screech like a pterodactyl the entire time. The Kids’ Room has toys and comfy seating, and the glass French doors look out to the rest of the coffee shop so you don’t feel closed off.
Whether I am looking for a place to get some work done on a weekday morning, or I want to get out of the house with my son, Ember Coffee Co. is always my go to!
We stopped there for lunch while in Big Lake for a friend's art show. My wife suggested it since they have gluten-free options. We both had the Jamaican Jerk Prime Rib sandwich. It was amazing. It was big enough for us to take half home for another meal.
