Summer isn't summer without a trip to eat pizza on the water at Cavallario's.
Cavallario's is — hands down — the best restaurant in the bay. The location is right on the water with a fantastic view of the Upper James Street docks.
Pete and Brenda are the nicest hosts and the food is fantastic, especially the gluten free pizza.
We LOVE the new setup — grab a menu, seat yourself, and come to the counter to order and get a buzzer.
Really cute setup inside, child friendly, super nice staff and the food is absolutely amazing. Although no Gluten-Free options now, they said they would be coming!! So- worth every penny!
This is a new Price Chopper Store, very clean, well organized and easy to locate food items. More product offerings than neighboring grocery stores. Nice selection of Gluten Free products. The management seems to pay attention to manageing the check out lines with minimal waiting time.

I recently have gone gluten free and I decided to try their gluten free pizza and it was AWESOME. Made me finally feel like I was eating a normal slice. 10/10 thank you guys for carrying a gluten free crust it made my day!
A nice, old-fashioned, outdoors seating restaurant with helpful and polite staff that were helpful to us. They helped me pick out a quick, delicious and gluten free steak wrap that would be ready in time so I didn't miss my boat ride to the 1,000 Islands.
Later we ended up there again for dinner and had a delicious fish dinner! Had a wonderful time and felt welcomed. Loved sitting out there and people watching as they stroll around enjoying the beautiful coastal Alexandria Bay area.

I docked one star because they don’t have a very good selection of veggies for your sub (compared to other sub shops).
However, they do have gluten free options and are VERY amazing about cross contamination awareness! As a parent of a Celiac family this is a BIG deal.
They also have Mexican food options which is cool.
