Many really tasty gluten free options for lunch and dinner. I recommend the bowls, but full dinners look quite tasty too. The only thing missing is a GF beer.
Food is amazing. Servers are fast, friendly and efficient and not in your face the whole time you're there. It's not fancy in there. Not in the least. If you're looking for fancy, this isn't your place. And you're most likely going to have to wait for a table. It's worth it. You absolutely positively canNOT leave hungry. Portions are generous. Gravy (tomato sauce) is simple and very very tasty. It's not perfect, for sure. None of the times we've gone there has water been automatically brought to the table. Garlic knots, yes, but not water. They'll bring if it you ask, but most Italian places just bring it automatically. And, I have to mention it... Flies. So many flies. Doesn't seem to bother people, though - since the place is always packed. It bothers me to have those disgusting creatures flying all over while you're trying to enjoy your meal. They spend their miserable lives sitting on food and garbage, which means when they land on your food, they share whatever they've landed on with you. There must be a way for the restaurant to cut down on the flies. As for the prices: very reasonable. This is a place you could eat at several times a week and not break the budget. AND - they take Gluten Free very seriously. Their menu even has a page devoted to GF options! Parking sucks. But that's because it's popular and provides a great product, so you'll just have to deal with taking a little extra time to find a spot to park. Again it's worth it.
Great tacos. Fast service. Lots of gluten free options if you need that. Sweet Chipotle chicken tacos are fantastic. Unfortunately, we went back a day later and the place was closed even though the posted houses said they should have opened an hour earlier. No sign. Lights on but nobody answered the phone or the door. Very unprofessional. If you have an emergency or a staff shortage please have the courtesy to tape a sign on the door.
Very happy to see so many gluten free options on the menu. The place is very cute and has a nice ambiance. Highly recommend the mushroom soup and whole enchilada very flavorful and fresh!
Fantastic find for folks with gluten and/or dairy sensitivities - or without! They make so many different fun kinds of treats The chocolate cake base is my favorite. It's also a mini farmer's market with local meats, eggs, maple syrup, etc. The new location has a comfy coffee shop vibe and delicious drinks.
We were passing by on a road trip and tried this place. Great food and fun atmosphere! I’m Celiac and they were aware and considerate and food was good with no issues.
I love the park diner. My friends and I are happy with the service and the food. Wish they had their tomato, bacon, cheese soup everytime I go in, it's gluten free and wonderful. My friends go for different meals but me I'm the liver girl. Been 5 times in 4 weeks and only had to send it back once because it was too well done.
My family and I arrived at Happy Pappi's last night within an hour of closing time. Pappi was welcoming and prepared us some fantastic food. I especially appreciate that when I told him I have Celiac's, he showed special care and even took the time to show me which sauces were safe and which were not safe for me to eat. Without a doubt, the arepa I had was the best sandwich I have had in the year since I went gluten-free. Will absolutely be returning, thanks!
I cannot say enough about the service, quality and freshness of the food. Everything is made fresh to order, is flavorful and beyond expectations. As someone with a gluten allergy the staff is well versed in allergies and took time to explain it all. Amazing!
They have many many gluten-free entrees on the menu which I'm very happy with because most restaurants only have a very few choices.
I've never been to Thailand but this food certainly taste great
This place could not be better. I got the rigatoni alla vodka, and it was the best I have ever had. Perfect texture, perfect taste, perfect everything. I cannot forget to mention the bread. They gave a HUGE piece of bread for 2 pasta dishes. The bread was almost as amazing as the rigatoni alla vodka. My dad got a gluten-free Hawaiian pizza, which he said is good and my picky-eater younger sister got plain pasta with butter which she said was also amazing. The place is run by Italian grandparents (who are very nice), which gives it a very family run authentic vibe. The food took a little longer then what was estimated on the phone, but that was expected as it was dinner rush hour and it was busy. They take apple pay which is good, as I use it often. Overall, an amazing family run Italian restaurant that is worth visiting if you are in the area!
Loved the coffee. We enjoy playing chess and seeing the antiques and homemade items for sale. There were a few gluten free choices to help my gf husband enjoy some lunch. The owner is very personable and makes you feel comfortable.
Love this little coffee house. Coffee is delicious and they usually have a yummy gluten- free treat I can enjoy. Family- owned and operated and it shows in a good way!
Tasty, lots of variety, nutritious, and gluten free. I would recommend to send with your college student for a healthy lunch, for your parents or grandparents to have available in their freezer, for busy individuals, for weight loss goals, for new parents, and for any person that could use a healthy stress free meal in a pinch. Not like other freezer meals; these are delicious!
Disappointed in the gluten free options offered. I’m a gf/vegan and choose nonvegan restaurants when I’m in the area because they offer more/better options. It’s a shame.
Great ahi tuna burger! Fries and sweet potato chips were pretty good. Happy they had gluten free burger rolls. Saw a few other items on the menu I'd like to try.
IF YOU’RE GLUTEN FREE, THIS PLACE IS INCREDIBLE!!!! I have a wheat allergy, and the cooks and manager were doing everything they could to ensure that nothing would be cross contaminated or make me sick. Offering to fully change out the frier oil if I wanted fries, and making sure the seasoning was okay as well.
This place is very cool!
The server was really nice and the food was awesome,, we got our food right away (granted, the place was basically empty, but 🤷). The house salad was delicious, and the pizza was amazing too! They have nice, fluffy gluten-free pizza crusts as well.
Had an event , we needed 8 full sheet pizzas and 2 10 piece gluten-free pizzas. The order came on time and the driver was very curtious. Great experience!
Chill atmosphere at Downtown by Chef Jay, especially in contrast to the bar crawl happening downtown during St. Pattys weekend. Loved seeing a menu with so many gluten free options, and it was difficult to choose! Settled on the Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice and Tabbouleh. Both were very delicious and left me satisfied. Paired with an espresso martini that was perfection! My husband got the Grilled Shrimp Tacos, and a Whiskey Sour, was pleased with both. We hope to be back again!
A beautiful little ice cream stand in a very convenient location. They offer a wide variety of options of both flavors and product types, this includes a handful of different dietary choices(gluten free, sugar free, etc)
Great place to go and grab a drink, some food, and watch a game. They know how to do it all, from a chill daytime restaurant, to an amazing night scene. I was pleased to know that they had gluten free options as all the wings and sauces were gf and a gfo for fries and taco shells! Wonderful staff as well:)
Very sweet and pleasant cafe.
We stopped here on our way traveling north.
We ordered 2 Americano coffees and 2 gluten free home baked. pastries (apple and pumpkin). Both were great!
Very sweet service by the owner.
We enjoyed!
We are recommending the Liuage House Cafe.
