Luigi's food game is on point when scouting out good restaurant recruits in the Johnston area. It takes up enough of a strip mall to give it some gravitas, but doesn't have the feel of comparable food places. You got a take-out deli with standup tables, and a restaurant that you'd be 'gagootz' to miss. (That's slang for 'crazy in the head.')
Their Amalfi Coast menu in the restaurant section has indicators of what is gluten-free and has nutritional stats on the food.
They have a surf-and-turf that beats a lot of the downtown Providence prices. Their plates will have you bringing a doggie bag home, unless you have two stomachs.
Overall, Luigi's is a wonderful experience. Check this out if your traveling down the I-295 or Route 6 corridor.
This was my first time here. The food was great with very reasonable portions for the price. Staff was friendly and on point. Some gluten free options. I will be coming back!
Our family has numerous food allergies, including peanuts, gluten, and egg. We also have several members with corn allergies. Corn is in nearly everything. For years, we couldn’t get many grains because they were processed on the same equipment as corn, even if they didn’t contain it. When I discovered Gerbs, I was not expecting to love their products as much as I do. Now, we order from them 2–3 times a month. I am able to make bread, muffins, and pancakes with ingredients we get from them. Many take these foods for granted, but in a home with numerous food allergies, these weren’t normal foods for us. Now, we enjoy pancakes on the weekends and homemade bread regularly. Not only has it added a comforting element to our meals, but it’s become a fun family tradition to bake bread together. I tell every food allergy person I know to purchase from Gerbs.

Our family has a lot of allergies (gluten, sesame, peanut, tree nut, egg) and this is one of the few restaurants we trust. They take such good care to make sure our food is safe and delicious. If you are like us and feel limited where you can go, go here. I’m sure they’ll take good care of you too!
I would highly recommend this Chipotle! The staff was extremely attentive with my mom's gluten allergy and took the time to change gloves and wipe everything down before making her order. It definitely made her feel comfortable eating there which is often a challenge as her allergy is very severe. The staff went above and beyond and the food was absolutely delicious!!
Always good here!! Delicious GF Bagel sandwiches. The gluten free sprinkles cookies are also pretty amazing!! Place is always clean and welcoming. Staff is friendly. Great tasting flavored coffees!!
