Small college town grocery mart, similar in style to a Whole Foods or fresh market with lots of natural or locally provided items. Prices can be higher than expected for certain items, but the variety or gluten free or vegetarian options are wide. I give the VM three stars because it’s varying service due to college students running the hard labor positions. Sometimes lines can be long with a single register open, and lately I have seen many expired items on the shelves! But with there no sale policy of expired items they will let you return the item.

I was quite impressed with this unique restaurant and two restaurants in one. The restaurant is on one side and smoothie bar/ ice cream. I have to give a shout-out to Bianca for the yummy smoothie the first day I came in. She made me a blueberry, honey, and peanut butter smoothie. I was given an option for thick or more thin. I chose the thick options and enjoyed it. Bianca also took the time to explain the history and all the gluten-free options I could choose from, which she didn't have to but took the time. That was a great touch for someone doing a review. I heard so much about how good the veggie burger was. I came back another day to try it. The bun was made out of corn and flat, but the burger was very juicy with lettuce, tomatoe, and onion. I was also happy they had a dedicated frier so I could have the steak fries. Would I recommend this restaurant? Absolutely Would I return to this restaurant? Absolutely Don't take my word for it. Go see for yourself. It's a vegan / plant base restaurant. The price was reasonable for the high quality food.

I didn’t know that I needed Peruvian food in my life until I found this place! They have delicious, fresh meals, empanadas, pupusas, arepas, and a menu with convenient symbols marking gluten free and vegetarian options.
