On a recent trip to downtown Arlington for my daughter's SAT exam, I discovered Stilly Diner, and I’m so glad I did! From the moment I walked in, the service was outstanding. The staff was friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home.
I chose a traditional breakfast, and it was delicious. The sausage and bacon were perfectly cooked—not too salty—allowing the flavors to really shine. The hashbrowns tasted homemade, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, just like a comforting meal from your kitchen.
One of the best parts of my visit was meeting some wonderful people. While I waited for my food, I chatted with a lady outside who loved the diner’s gluten-free options, and she mentioned her husband found the corned beef delicious. I also spoke with a guy next to me who works remotely as a frontend programmer and comes to the diner often—his stories added to the welcoming atmosphere.
To top it all off, someone at a table behind me unexpectedly paid for my meal before leaving. Maybe they got charmed about me working hard on my laptop while easting in the corner on a Saturday morning! I made sure to tip generously to spread the good vibes to the wonderful servers.
Overall, Stilly Diner is a true gem in Arlington. With great food, friendly faces, and a sense of community, my first visit was truly memorable. I can’t wait to return!

The gluten free pizza crust is amazing. Hard to tell it wasn’t a regular crust.
It does seem a bit expensive tho. This is more of a treat. We had 2 pizzas, 2 pints of cider and we split a salad the bill was almost $100 with tip.
The live music is okay but it seems very loud in this warehouse setting. Not conducive if you’re wanting to have a conversation over dinner.

They have a huge menu, and → if you want it, they will do EVERYTHiNG and ANYTHiNG vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free. Well, except the plain lassi. They DO offer a dairy free mango option, tho!

Hammond makes the best rustic bread, one of my favs. Apple puffins delish. Tried something new. Bread pudding, thought it would be too sweet, no I think my new favorite. Absolutely delicious. They have vegan and gluten free. This is truly a bakery. Not a place that sells baked goods. I love this place.

First time visiting. Plenty of delicious menu options to choose from, with a good variety as well, with fair prices for today's economy. Would be nice to see more gluten free options but easy to make substitutions. Server was friendly but seemed to forget to bring my friend's drink out. Food wait time was decent. Once our orders arrived everything looked and tasted great, plus the orders came out accurate. Dining area and bathroom were clean. Loved the music choice and the volume was just right. Looking forward to coming back.

A new favorite restaurant for us! We did not have reservations, but lucked out and were given the last table for two. Service was fast and attentive. All the staff were in constant motion, never hurried or stressed, always calm and friendly. The food was amazing, with non-stop flavor. I have food sensitivities, including gluten and they were easily ready to accommodate. Sweet! The roasted beet appetizer was delicious. The halibut was perfect, tender and moist inside but with a light outer crisp; the risotto had way more flavor than any I’ve experienced. My husband loved his seafood tostados and his rack of lamb dish. The desserts looked tempting and several gluten free, but we couldn’t imagine eating another bite. Maybe next time.The atmosphere was lively and upbeat. People must be regulars. For that reason it was noisy. Not a place for quiet conversation, but so worth it! We will indeed be back. Soon.
