Went in for a takeaway. Food was flavourful and so wonderfully fresh. Staff were lovely, welcomed us at the door and served us quickly. Loads of Gluten Free options and careful attention paid to my dietaries. Great restaurant.
Quick pleasant service , great burger, we’ll presented, catered for gluten free thankfully and great experience all round. We’ll go back. Loved the gf onion rings
Diverse menu, beautiful staff who remembered table of 16 by name (whilst also serving other tables), food I’ve never tried before (and i frequent Indian restaurants), can split bills, cater to vegans, gluten free etc.
Thanks to staff and management, BEST Indian restaurant Ever’n
Recently enjoyed Sunday lunch for 8 including family from Brisbane. We had gluten free, non dairy and vegetarian diners but all easily found good choices.
Every aspect, food, service, courtesy and atmosphere was first class and serving sizes great value for money.
Highly recommended
Food was good but the service was Basil Fawlty like. We selected it as being gluten free and dairy free friendly. What a joke they had no idea about either and should make anyone with allergies very wary about visiting. We waited 90 mins for our food despite asking them and being told several times it was just coming. A restless 2 year old forced 3 of the party to leave asking for the food to be made take away. Despite this the table food was served first and the take away was left behind the bar. These people can't follow the simplest of instructions. Needless to say they won't get our custom again. As for being Nepalese food.....
Delicious and filling. Plenty of vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free options. Friendly staff. Expect to pay $15-22 for a regular meal, but it is yummy, hearty, and filling.
Note: the 'free wifi' advertised on the door is Canberra Free Wifi'. But still, good wifi signal.
Note 2: Does not offer student discounts.
Great area. Good staff. Understaffed I think today but they did a great job regardless. I would not go there if you have food intolerance as I'm very bloated even though I ordered and paid for gluten free. 🙃
Had a beautiful dinner here and was blown away by some pretty amazing street food options.
Our pick was the chaat platter that gives you the opportunity to taste the chatpat chaat options multiple ways featuring my favourite pani puri, bhel puri, papri chat, dahi puri and sev puri. It was a meal in itself for me 😁.
We also tried the butter masala vada pav which comes in a bun smothered with butter and masala. The ultimate snack with your chai. I’m glad we ordered it as I can see why it’s currently selling like hot cakes!!! 😋
We also tried the cheese chilly masala dosa (Indian rice crepe) that came with an assortment of sauces and chutneys and masala potato on the side. The dosa was crispy and delicious as it should be. 😛
We were so full by the end of our meal so got the paneer methi (cottage cheese and fenugreek) curry and some garlic naan for take away 🤤
Thank you @sankalp_belconnen for this amazing feast and we’ll definitely be back to try some more delicious meals 💛
P.S. the restaurant is 100% vegetarian and there are a lot of gluten free options too.
Gluten free people, this place is not for us. The gluten free option is 3-4 bites at best, and I paid more than others in my party for significantly smaller meal. There was no indication that the gluten free option would be smaller than the regular tacos. We ordered together and everyone else’s food came out 40 minutes before mine. When asked, staff would walk away and not follow up.
It was a hot day and it was boiling inside. No fans or air conditioning. Music was so loud my party could hardly hear each other.
We were also not told at the time of booking that they don’t hold a liquor license, which is fine but needs to be communicated up front.
The taco at least was tasty yet very oily but not worth it. Will not be returning.
