Very disappointed. 3 burgers with chips and a drink cost about $50. I don't mind spending $50 on a meal but just underwhelming unfortunately. Our burgers looked undercooked and the chips were very salty. One positive is they offer gluten free buns.
After reading the passive aggressive replies to other reviews from the owner I regret spending a single dollar here. Just shows the level of care for his customers.
Bursting with pleasant surprises for even the most hardcore of “Pho-natics”! ☺️ The Garden of Nang was the first place we ever tried Lao food, and it certainly did not disappoint! Everything is fresh, fragrant and prepared right in front of you in the open front of house kitchen. The owners aim to please by using organic, homegrown, seasonal and locally-sourced produce wherever possible, and if you get the chance to speak to the Top Chef you soon understand this isn’t just an eatery, it’s her passion. We have been for dinner before and loved the soups and noodle dishes, yet sampled the Summer Lunch Menu for the first time today and it was amazing - it was hard to choose between the different noodle salads as each one looked tempting as they were brought out. We had the dumplings, spring rolls, chicken fried rice and chicken noodle salad and all were tasty as can be. They cater well for vegetarian/vegan options also, and can also accommodate gluten-free. It’s definitely a unique addition to Goolwa which has been lacking in vibrant cuisine in previous years so we’re glad to see them thriving as a business. Cannot fault the service or surrounds at all. They can get very busy - definitely call for takeaway and book for dinner - but it’s totally understandable why! They’re great. Certainly a place not to be missed when visiting the area! ☺️🍜🥗🥟🥢💛
Tommy was extremely helpful, particularly to my friend who is celiac & allergic to strong fragrances.
We were placed in a secure area and very well looked after.
