My wife has a gluten intolerance and wanted to join me for lunch. We used to do the soup, salad and garlic home loaf for lunch often. Since realizing the gluten intolerance we have not been going here for lunch. Today she was accompanying me just to hang out. She was a little hungry but wasn’t sure of the options. The waiter Adam wanted to make sure she was being looked after and made several suggestions, educated her and made absolutely sure that that she would get delicious and safe food for her. Very happy customers. Great job Adam! We will be returning for sure.
Our server Shelly was amazing. Very quick, polite and attentive. Our son has Celiac so the manager Bev came over to answer our questions about the menu. She even suggested their gluten free cheesecake which was delicious. Will definitely return!
Great service, price on point (in this economy, great price still) and hearty food. But, it's not gluten free.
I'm saying this for wheat allergist who are reading other reviews thinking they have entirely gluten free dish option. Just based on my reaction and knowledge of East Asian cuisine (like the oyster sauce and fish sauce ahem-has wheat as their base ingredients. You can ask them to take it out but making it taste like thai food after that...that's gonna be hard. Now it can be a marginal amount that it may be gluten-free but it may also not be) and I don't think they were using tamori sauce in replacement of soy sauce.
So a warning there to be careful on this and not claim it's gluten free for people with wheat allergy who might die based on the amount of wheat they consume. I debated whether or not to give literally 1 star or 5 star over this (since nobody ever reads 3-4 stars) but to support local business in current time, I decided 5 stars. I could be wrong in terms of how they cook it but, anyway, wheat allergist and gluten sensitive, be warned.
In a town that has too many burrito places, this is by far the best one. The staff is friendly, quick, and accommodating. They have lots of gluten-free options and the pulled porknis to die for!
Our first visit to Mexi's Restaurant was a fantastic experience! As a family of three with specific dietary needs, we were thrilled to see gluten-free options clearly marked on the menu. The server was incredible—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind, making us feel welcome from the start.
Our child loved the kids' menu, which had amazing choices beyond the usual basics. The food was delicious, with generous portions that left us all satisfied. Mexi's has quickly become our new favorite spot, and we can't wait to return. Highly recommend for families or anyone seeking great food and excellent service!

The atmosphere was pleasant and I could actually hear my friend brought me to Schnitzels, being new to Cornwall.
Hands down the best Indian food I've ever had. My son is already asking when we can have it again. Also, I have a gluten allergy and the owner made a point to call me and reassure me that the dish I had ordered was gluten free. Very much appreciated.
Bit of a rustic feel, which captures the quality and staff of The Shack, when I go to get poutine in cornwall, It's from here. Love this place.
Edit: Found out I was celiac, this place has dedicated fry fryers and the gravy is gluten free. Almost no risk of contamination with their amazing poutines :)
