I came with my partner and I am celiac.
We pointed out to the waiter, of course, the sensitivity that ignored it in a shocking way.
An antipathetic waiter with a sour face
We asked for a gluten-free taco and a regular one and of course they put both on the same plate and touched each other and the waiter's answer is that the place is not sterile.
And I ask - if I'm allergic to nuts, will you put nuts on half the dessert???
Horrible answer and the minimum! It is to separate plates.
I will not return and will not recommend.
Great cafe in Renanim Mall, I really liked that it was away from all the hustle and bustle.
Delicious food and good quality, arrives quickly, and excellent service :-)
Oh and of course everything is gluten free but it feels normal😊
We will definitely keep coming back to visit🫶🏻
Wow! What a great place.
Was a very cute place, had tons of vegan options and noticed lots of gluten free. The vegan and non vegan were delicious. The chef came out to make sure we were getting what we wanted and service was amazing. One of the few mehadrin places in Tel Aviv. Will definitely be coming back and trying more.
I'll start with the food and drinks -
1.) Buffalo chicken wings - broken bones in almost every piece!
It was not proper pieces of wings, but rather pieces of chicken chopped through the bone, mostly pieces of shoulder part of wings with the skinny part chopped off, which makes them round and awkward,, but also chicken back (???), so it was very messy to eat, the meat was a little dry, depending on the part and small pieces of broken bones in almost every "wing" is unacceptable (this is the craziest thing to serve chicken wings like this, it's not even safe and there is absolutely no reason for this, it really blew my mind, the waiter acted surprised when I told him this, so maybe I got unlucky and they usually don't do this. Update: I searched for wings on other pictures in reviews and they actually look normal, so I guess I just got "lucky").
Also the blue cheese sauce was very thin (should be thicker, but this is no big deal).
Good thing about the wings is they are fried pretty nicely (batter tasted good and crispy under the spicy sauce) and coated well in very spicy sauce (I like spicy), but the other stuff completely ruins it.
2.) The portions are not big at all, unlike some popular review here says. A portion of tacos is just 2 small tacos. (The portions for appetizers are normal, but tacos felt even smaller than our previous appetizers)
3). The carnes (beef) tacos were tasty, but I asked to make them spicy and I guess they forgot or thought that a tiny slice of pepper on top is enough (which I tried separately and it tasted like sweet bell pepper), this is not a big deal, but a little disappointing.
4.) The fish tacos are made with deep fried fish (it says so in the menu, so there was no surprise here), which is unusual and we thought that they weren't very good, not because there was something wrong with them, but just a big chunk of deep fried fish in a taco didn't go well with guacamole.
5.) Fried calamari was good (nothing special here, pieces were small, so the ratio of batter to calamari is very high, but I kinda like that, they were fried nicely).
6.) No 0% alcohol beer - I know this type of beer is not popular in Israel, but spicy mexican food goes very well with beer and it's really disappointing they didn't have any, such an easy thing to add to a menu for people behind the wheel or who don't drink alcohol, but instead they have no gluten beer...
7.) Wife had alcohol free margarita, it was good and reasonably priced (we didn't find it in the menu, so we were wondering how much could it cost - it's 18 nis, while normal margarita is around 50)
Positives - nice atmosphere, the waiter was very pleasant, when he asked how was the food I had to ask why in the world are their "wings" like that and he seemed surprised and offered a dessert on the house, we had chocolate mousse, it was pretty good.
Overall I was disappointed with the food and I personally would not come back, although it has a fun atmosphere and good service.
P.s. My wife liked it more than me, so I can't say that I don't recommend it, I think many people will enjoy it, especially if they come for a fun atmosphere and food is secondary for them.
The owners have a celiac daughter and will prepare gluten free dishes especially if you let them know in advance that you are coming. Wonderful people and delicious traditional food at reasonable prices
Tacos Luis is a never fail! The ambience, the food, the people. For those who are a bit homesick or just enjoy Mexican food, it's a MUST when visiting Jerusalem.
Also, 90% of the menu is gluten free, it's not a sterile kitchen but a very clean and organized one (if you're VERY sensitive- don't be afraid, let them know and enjoy!)
Delivery review:
We ordered two burgers (can switch to gluten free buns if necessary) fries and a salad that arrived with bread as well. The hamburgers were quite good (the meat was a bit dry than we expected though), fries and salad were delicious! Overall portions were a good value for money. We really liked the variaty of condiments that were sent with the order.
Perfect restaurant, delicious food that melts in your mouth because it's so delicious, they pay close attention to celiac and sterility, very good and loyal service, excellent atmosphere.
Highly recommend
The hummus is delicious, there are both gluten-free and spelled pitas, everyone and their limitations are addressed. Charming, kind and helpful people. Excellent experience
I have visited the restaurant twice so far and each time the experience was amazing, the food and service are definitely at a high level and you can see that they really invest and make the most of their efforts to have a good vegan or vegetarian experience for visitors, honestly it is not that different from "normal" food that is available in all the other places
I am personally a vegetarian with a sensitivity to gluten, and their large selection of dishes is amazing for me.
I highly recommend the place and their menu, I also highly recommend the desserts, especially their cheesecake and chocolate.
Kudos to the staff and the cooks and those who build the menu, you have created an amazing place!!
I wish abundance and prosperity to the place!!
I am excited about my next visit to the place :)
The tastiest gluten-free pita I've ever tasted! They really like celiacs here, they are very strict about sterility and indulge extra. I am a celiac who regularly eats falafel here
I sat there today, the food was very tasty, the service was excellent, the prices were very reasonable, and they also have a gluten-free menu with very tasty dishes.
Excellent experience, we came with our daughter that has celiac, and she enjoyed the food and the desert, many thanks to Lior the owner and the staff that made sure she can eat safely and enjoy her lunch. The vanilla milkshake is from Ben&Jeris vanilla ice cream.
We were at a concert at the cafe's stunning festival
An amazing initiative that combines memory and commemoration of those who fell in the neighborhood with amazing music and a fun, homey family atmosphere
Beyond that, lovely people! Wonderful service and personal attention
Excellent food to start the day with or have lunch with after work, and for all celiacs, it's worth coming!
In addition, there is a gallery of stunning and beautiful gifts and housewares!
Very nice cafe
We arrived following our celiac daughter
We were surprised to discover a menu full of options and simply really, really delicious. It is recommended to arrive early
Nice place overall.
We took starters and they were nice and nothing more. We didn't fly over the food, so I'm not sure we'll go back again.
There are gluten-free markings, which is a positive point.
Nice atmosphere.
Very cute place but I’m surprised they have relatively few gluten free options given that they advertise as a celiac-friendly cafe. They have bread and some gluten-free sandwiches but almost every time we came they ran out of the sandwiches, even though we came early (10 or 11 am). Landwer has more gluten free options.
I have Celiac and restaurants with a lot of gluten free options are few and far between. This restaurant had an extensive gluten free menu and the staff were knowledgeable and made sure my food was safe. I was served by Roni and she helped me translate the menu from Hebrew to English and was able to answer all of my food-related questions. Everything I ate was good, though it wasn’t anything to write home about. I had beef skewers with white rice, gf pad thai, and vanilla mochi which came to a total of $32.42. I would definitely eat here again!
A lovely and delicious place!
We were looking for a gluten-free restaurant on the way north, and we arrived thanks to a recommendation.
Biggie Pizzas has a varied and very inviting menu.
The restaurant allows a gluten-free option.
The kitchens are open for all to see and the place looks and feels very clean.
The order is made by scanning a code into the app and without ordering from waiters, so a little patience is required, but it flows :) The food comes out quickly.
Thank you, we will definitely be back
It's fun to have this place, there is delicious falafel, gluten-free and low-carb, which are also fun and the service is friendly
It would be nice if there were also napkins, but it can be managed
My partner and I heard about a "gluten-free evening" and immediately reserved a place. In Be'er Sheva, in general, it's hard to find places that are gluten-free and considered delicious and special.
But unfortunately we were very disappointed, we sat down at a table that looked clean but its edges were dirty and all our clothes were stained with sauce that left a disgusting stain. Then we ordered pesto ravioli and white pizza, that is, pizza with only cheeses and truffle oil and almonds. The pasta arrived quickly and was really nice, but when we finished it, the waitress came to say that the kitchen was delayed with the pizzas and that if we wanted to wait, it would take another 10/15 minutes for the pizza to arrive. In the end, 20 minutes passed before our pizza arrived, which looked so uninviting, didn't look like pizza at all, and tasted like melted yellow cheese on unbaked dough. We tried to give the pizza another chance because we said it wasn't gluten-free. Maybe it takes a little getting used to, but no... The taste was unbearable and to our great regret, we returned the pizza to the kitchen. The great disappointment made us want to get up and leave, and when we asked for the bill and received it, we saw that the pasta sauce cost 80 shekels! For 10 pieces of ravioli with gluten-free cheese in pesto sauce..... What a shame! We live a gluten-free life and are aware of the complexity of the cooking method and the costs of the ingredients... and yet 80 shekels for 10 pieces of ravioli is really, really excessive. In any case, we were very disappointed and probably won't go back there.
Paradise for celiacs and vegans, the most varied menu, every dish has a substitute and everything is so delicious, especially the perfect gluten-free gevata
Hummus of a very high standard I came with my wife (coeliac) and they had a great gluten free lapa.
We had a great time and will return every time we come to Jerusalem!
Would not recommend. We waited 1,5 hours for 2 pizzas to arrive, even though we live very close to the restaurant. The gluten-free pizza is VERY small, not a lot of value for your money. The pizza was not a good experience to eat. Very dry, almost no sauce. Disappointing way to end the weekend.
I gave 2 stars because the ingredients were fresh, and I admire them for offering a gluten-free pizza in the first place.

The food is delicious and varied. Great service.
We asked for food with a million special requests, vegan, gluten-free... and we received everything in a great way with cooperation between all the waiters, who knew exactly what everyone ordered. The restaurant is full and there is still privacy.
