BEETNUT is a fantastic spot for anyone looking for creative, healthy, and delicious food in Zurich. Almost all dishes can be made gluten-free, and the staff is very knowledgeable, making it a safe and enjoyable experience. The ingredients are super fresh, and the flavor combinations are unique and incredibly well-balanced.
I tried the Scrambled Tofu Bagel with coconut, veggies, curry & salad—absolutely delicious and now one of my favorite dishes in Zurich. They also offer a great selection of trendy drinks like Matcha, Golden Milk, Blue Milk & more.
The atmosphere is modern and inviting, making it a great place to relax, work, or catch up with friends. The concept is well thought out, and you can really taste the quality of the ingredients.

Awesome vegetarian and vegan food, you can basically eat your way around the world from Thai curry to samosas, and pakoras; a variety of cold, salads, veggie pâté and the like. Juices, cocktails, mock tails and wine by the glass, as well as a full selection of hot beverages are available. Outdoor patio when the weather is nice, the only downside is that in Switzerland, people smoke on patios, so look and make sure the wind is blowing the other way. Takeout containers available, and delightfully cheeky graphics delineating the male and female washrooms. This branch of the main restaurant which has been open for 125 years does a great job. If it’s your first time in Switzerland, you probably don’t realize everything is about double the price you’re used to in North America. Take half the portion you think you’d like so you don’t get sticker shock when you see the currency conversion on your credit card. The celery schnitzel is absolutely phenomenal, I like it with a little bit of the pesto smeared on top. Gluten appetit!

Very friendly service and a large, exciting selection of burgers. They do have gluten-free buns, but we've had better ones… it was a dark, thin whole-wheat bun.
Nice, hip place, fine food, nice service. We were also allowed to stay seated for longer than the 2 hours. What's great for me is that I can find suitable dishes even if I have gluten and dairy intolerance. Delicious. Gladly again.
Unfortunately, my clothes smelled very much like a restaurant afterwards.
We were treated horribly. We ordered a gluten free pasta for my wife and normal pasta for me. They brought pasta with gluten for my wife and upon asking they confirmed that it was with gluten. So they took it back and left me eat my pasta alone.
And then when we complained about it that we came to eat together they took my pasta and got me another one after my wife’s gluten free pasta arrived.
Worst of all that the chef didn’t give a damn to show up for mistake
