Best fish and chip shop in Weston! Amazing prices and you get way more chips than other places. The staff are lovely and it is very welcoming. I love how you can get gluten-free fish and chips which taste amazing!

An absolute gem of a place. Greeted by friendly helpful staff. Our gluten free and vegan needs were easily catered for. Everything was delicious and generously portioned. Dog friendly. And the absolute icing in the cake were the huge windows onto stunning views of the beaches and bay in all directions making it so bright
and light. Just such a lovely atmosphere. I thoroughly recommend it and look forward to being there again one day.
I’m a few weeks late posting this, but we were visiting here from Swindon - admittedly, we usually go for a roast somewhere else but because their kitchen was closed, it opened us up to looking for somewhere new.
As one of the group is coeliac, I had messaged about 9 different places and this was the first one to respond and on the same day.
From the first point of contact, they were friendly, helpful and accommodating! They were able to adapt the roast to make gluten free.
When we got there we were early - we popped our head round the door and asked if we could come in slightly earlier and, of course, it was not an issue!
We were served by a magnificent team of ladies and our particular waitress was fantastic - so friendly, great with the kids, funny and nothing was too much trouble!
On top of that, I observed as I watched them each go round to every table and chat to every customer.
A couple turned up and had a guide dog with them and it was so lovely to see that nobody had an issue with it, in fact, the staff even fussed over the dog & sat and chatted with the couple.
I didn’t get names, but the blonde lady who I think was in charge this day, came and chatted with us asked about us, where we were staying, what we had been up to and really made us feel very comfortable.
The food… the roast was incredible. The meat was fantastically cooked, the veg was generous and I was honestly stuffed after eating mine. But with it tasting so good, I couldn’t resist ordering dessert!
I ate every mouthful - it was that good! They even let me have both ice cream and custard with my dessert! But honestly, I nearly had to be rolled out of the restaurant!
As well as this, I noticed they had a recipe for sangria on the wall behind the bar - I asked if it was available to order and they were more than happy to make it up for us!
Honestly cannot recommend this place enough and when in Weston, we will return!
Thank you to everyone who served us and made this such a fantastic experience!

Excellent meal, good gluten free options, but a bit pricey. Didn't like the automatic addition of gratuity. Only spotted this when looking at the bill when I got home. Felt a bit cheated.
We booked the cafe for my mums 80th birthday from 3-6pm on a sunday for approx 20 of us. It worked out perfectly and the owner jenny was the most friendly person on the planet and nothing was to much. She catered for a vegetarian, coeliac and lactose free. The variety of food was above and beyond and very very fairly priced. My mum was so happy and we all let with smiles on our faces. Thankyou so much jenny.
Great food. I had the pan fried Hake, perfectly cooked and with some great accompanying flavours. Would also of loved to try the Lamb Kleftico, a favourite of mine from a holiday long ago on a greek island. Monkfish Risotto sounds fantastic too! Vegetarian/vegan/gluten free options clearly marked on the menu too - thankyou! Kids menu has lots of choice too, not the usual limited basic meals. Desserts excellent and were superbly presented too.
After a phone call we booked hear feeling confident I could eat here as a coeliac. They don't have allergens on the menu but all staff were knowledgeable and double checked I was not sharing starters with others that had gluten in their dishes . The food was delicious and they offered to adapt any dish I wanted to make it free from gluten . The only thing they could not offer was bread as it would have been baked in their pizza oven .
Another great experience at Miller and Carter which is now definitely one of our favourites with great options for gluten free. The service once again Brilliant from Belinda, will definitely be back :)
The Beefeater is a wonderful place for an evening family meal. Seven of us attended a meal from 5:00pm until roughly 7:30pm and all had a wonderful time.
I ordered the Chargrilled chicken with cheese and bacon with no sauce, salad garnish, or coleslaw. The staff accommodated and my plate arrived with no signs of them.
The chicken was delicious and far from dry (which I worried it might've been without sauce). The bacon and chicken flavours were well-balanced and the skin-on chips were delicious.
The staff offer to bring sauces to the table such as ketchup (that came in small dipping dishes) or brown sauce (a bottle was brought to our table) and salt and pepper shakers are readily available.
A member of my family ordered the same dish as me and enjoyed the coleslaw and salad garnish. The portion sizes were very nice and the staff kept an eye on our table to judge when to come back and clear plates, etc.
For dessert, I highly recommend the millionaire's brownie sundae. Three of us (13, 19, and 50+) ordered this dessert and it did not disappoint. The black forest gateau was a square, three-tiered slice that looked mouth-watering and was reportedly good. As were the mango fruit sundae, the crumble, and the sticky toffee pudding.
We were given ample time to catch up as family and thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Beefeater.
We didn't feel rushed and there was no semblance of negativity at all. It was brilliant.
The only warning I would give is their coupons/vouchers! Please double check that your discount voucher is DEFINITELY for Beefeater prior to dining. Or have the website link ready to show staff. We used one of the free first-sign-up vouchers but had a wrong one at first. It's just worth double checking.
At the door, the staff ask for any allergies they need to be wary of and were all overall very polite, friendly, and welcoming.
There are gluten-free menu options and vegetarian menu options.
The toilets are on your left as you walk into the establishment and the female toilets had an accessible stall available.
The parking is self-validated by a touch-screen also just inside the establishment, to the right. As signs outside indicate, parking is free for validated customers for up to 3 hours.
The service is excellent. The food is even better. We were visiting WSM for 5 days and ate at a variety of places but we do have to be careful as our son is coeliac. We ate on the Wednesday night and enjoyed it so much it was an easy decision to go back the following evening to eat again.
