The food is much better than the dining room, although also a little more expensive, but it is worth it.
They have gluten free options.
A very nice place.
After a long morning hiking in the grand canyon. My partner and I needed to go somewhere filling and delicious! Foodie club was exactly that.
You order at the counter, receive a pager for your food and beverages. And can sit where you'd like.
We ordered the carne asada fries, and the onion and mushrooms cheeseburger. I have Celiac disease so it can sometimes be difficult for a small place to accommodate my specific dietary needs. They assured me I would be taken care of. And I can report I've had zero reaction. Now let's get back to it. The bacon was crispy but delectable. The burger patty was seasoned and juicy. The mushrooms and onions were cooked perfectly. It was an absolutely amazing burger!!! And my partner said the carne asada fries were spectacular. Very large portions. So consider that if you are a light eater. They also have a full bar. And board games for the kiddos.
Staff was very nice and accommodating. If I'm ever in the area again I will be stopping back in!!!!
This was the first time we dined at El Tovar. I am so glad we did. The atmosphere was lovely and the food was amazing! They had many gluten free and vegan options as well. I was impressed and will come again.
The steak was lukewarm, had lots of gluten and was not tasty, and the vegetables were very hard, definitely not in line with Taiwanese tastes. The portion size was not big in the United States, but it was filling. The children's meal was very ordinary, the macaroni and cheese was not recommended, and the children's steak was not good either. The advantage is that the service is good and the atmosphere is good.
Harvey's House Café never disappoints! Tasty food with thoughtful options for every diet: Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free included. The staff is kind and attentive. A cozy, feel-good place to eat!
