Super cozy place, especially at night. For cocktails, this is as good as a speakeasy when you want the bartenders to make interesting drinks. I always want to be surprised and always am with the amazing cocktail creations! As for food, I recommend the French Dip but get the gluten free bread. The roll is better than the regular one. Hope you have as much fun as I do here!
Love their gluten friendly pizza, super light and fluffy which is rare for gf. The Brooklyn bridge is my favorite. It’s my go to pizza place whenever I’m in town.
Visiting from the east coast, my husband and I are both gluten free and love Indian food. The menu clearly states vegan, gluten free, etc. We tried the Spice Room based on reviews online. Our waitress, Sabi, was PHENOMENAL!! The food was nothing short of amazing. Sabi made excellent recommendations and ensured gluten free appetizers, entrees, and desserts. We HIGHLY recommend!!
I had some time to spare after an appointment and wandered to Tennyson Street, near where I used to live a few years ago. I was looking for a breakfast spot to relax before heading back to south Denver and located Cozy Cottage. Wow! The service was excellent, the decor is very cozy as the name implies, and the food was sublime! I appreciated that they have gluten-free options, which is difficult, especially when you want Eggs Benedict. The chef is fantastic and the creation with the addition of brie cheese into the hollandaise sauce was something else! I will definitely come back! Give this place a try you will be delighted.
Food was good. Service was consciously slow. Server declined to take our order when we said we were ready to order, citing not wanting to overwhelm the kitchen. Upon getting out food we wanted to confirm it was gluten free, the server took several minutes to confirm to safety of the food. We had to rely on another customer to get the server's attention. Food was good but not worth the service.Overall, felt like our business wasn't valued.
We tried dining here on Saturday night, but came to find out when we were seated that there's like a half page manifesto about not handling any allergies (not dietary preferences - actual anaphylactic shock inducing allergies). Their menu explicitly states "do not eat here, it's not worth the risk." Well, you don't have to tell us twice! We found food elsewhere.
As an aside, pretty much every other restaurant in Denver can handle this kind of request with modest hygienic kitchen practices. Some restaurants are excellent and proactive about it. Even some cocktail bars ask about allergies now! But hey, that's your choice I guess.
So, we decided to leave a mostly-positive (4-star) review to let other allergy-havers know not to come here. After all, they're very clear about not wanting you to eat here! We thought we'd spread the word while not impacting their Google rating too much.
For daring to leave a review with 4 stars, about a policy on their menu that they wrote, the owners decided to respond with an absolute tantrum. Check the other reviews - we're definitely not the first people to enrage these psychos. You did an excellent job of making an enemy out of people who would otherwise at least stop in for a glass of wine or a cocktail.
So, enjoy your multiple 1 star reviews from everyone in our party, instead of the single 4-star review you would have gotten. You really earned it!
Do not give these people your money.

Edit: Again, see the completely normal response from the owner 😂. I don't have a gluten allergy - someone in our party has a tree nut allergy. And again, that's fine, we can eat elsewhere. We appreciated the warning on the menu. We just wanted to leave a review letting other allergy-havers to also dine elsewhere. That's what you want, right?
Very good wings. High quality so yes, not as large as the industrial farms. Great flavor. I ordered 12 wings and a small fry and it was actually too much food for me (although I got to try two sauce flavors). They also carry gluten free beer
Overall negative experience. Guy at the register was super unfriendly. There were 5 people behind the counter and literally no other customers in the store. And it still took them 15 minutes to make my sandwich because they were just chatting the whole time. When they were done, the woman literally yelled my name (probably from habit) even though I was sitting right next to the counter and was the only person in the store. I used to love going there because they've always had decent gluten free bread but this was awful. Crumbly and dry. And the rotisserie chicken and Swiss was literally flavorless. Think over refrigerated leftover turkey with nothing on it.
Gluten free people: this is your Ramen spot. The spicy mushroom is not Indian medium so if you like a little spice it is good and they can make it hotter if you want more spicy. Almost everything on the menu can be made gluten free and for 2 people with 3 drinks, the bill was 70 bucks. So much cheaper than most gluten free meals out.
Allergy people: they are amazing at food allergies. My partner is allergic to eggs. They traded out the egg noodles for the gluten free noodles as they were egg free!
Everyone else: if you dont love good, reasonably priced food and good wine and mixed drinks, this isn't for you. But the other 99% will adore this place and its amazing patio!
Super fun place. The staff here was so so nice. I have celiac and they made me feel super comfortable and did not make me feel like I was inconveniencing them at all. All very yummy. We will be back!
I love El Camino. I have celiac and am always looking for yummy gluten free Mexican restaurants. Their enchiladas are the best and made with corn tortillas.
I also get the chips and salsa and don't have a reaction. I don't know their level of safety but am fairly sensitive and do not react. I do mention celiac/gluten sensitivity in my order.
I tried to order a vegan pizza, but couldn't stomach the price it was ringing up and had to leave the restaurant hungry.
there is a significant upcharge for a vegan crust, and an additional significant upcharge for vegan cheese. a simple crust, sauce, cheese vegan pizza was ringing up close to $23 before any toppings were added.
Each added topping would have been $1-$2 extra.
Getting near $30 for a single personal vegan pizza before tax and tip is ridiculous. Do not come here if you are seeking out gluten free or vegan pizza, it's not worth it.
The staff was super fast and really cared about our request for gluten free options of which they had many. The bonus was that they didn’t seem to be annoyed and were really willing to help us which is not always the case. Food was excellent. A little expensive but well worth it for the atmosphere, food and service. I was so amazed by the dinner we ordered, I forgot to take a photo! I’ll take a picture next time, we are definitely coming back!
Sorry for the lousy photo- my I'm in the middle of moving and got takeout from Lucy's Burger Bar to eat at a hotel. I ordered from Lucy's because it had good reviews from other people with celiac. The burger I had was possibly the best gluten free burger I've ever eaten. The bun was so good, I was a bit concerned that it was a normal bun, but I have not been glutened, a day later. If you need to eat gluten free, this place will take good care of you. They have a dedicated fryer for fries. And yes, it wasn't cheap
Very quaint, cute spot that takes reservations! Amazing food with solid gluten/ grain free options (can sub zoodles or spaghetti squash for pasta - hefty portion!). I had the Bolognese. I think it’s important to remember that our restaurants are having hard times right now! Yes, we did have a little confusion with the staff and our reservation but it got sorted out. The staff was genuine and cared. If you’re in a hurry, go elsewhere! We are grateful we can go out to eat and support a local place.
Very impressed with this sushi restaurant in sunnyside. High quality fish, generous portions, and excellent preparation. Definitely recommend. They are helpful with gluten allergies and have tamari GF soy sauce upon request.

It's in a little restaurant type stripmall in a gentrified neighborhood in NW Denver. It's pretty unassuming when you walk in. However, the food, the server, and the owner were all just fantastic. My wife absolutely loves Indian food and we've been to several in the Denver metro area as well as some around the county and this was the best food we've ever had. My wife loves the leftovers so we always get 3 entrees. Her go-to's are always butter chicken and chicken korma. They were as good as any we've ever had. The vegie pakora appetizer was crispy, not at all greasy and just wonderful. My entree was lamb Rogan Josh (which I'd never had before) and it was outstanding! All our items were gluten free and they have a lot of options to choose from. We will go back.
This restaurant is set slightly off the street, so not obvious if you aren’t looking for it. That being said, it’s worth looking for. The food was well balanced and delicious, fish was fresh and there is a really large selection of items on the menu. In addition to sushi, they also serve ramen, curry bowls, and dishes for those who don’t like fish or need gluten free options.
Best menudo I have ever had! The menudo and pozole here are incredible. This restaurant does an incredible job with their salsas (habanero salsa is fantastic if you are someone that enjoys spice) and also can provide various options that do not contain gluten. Also a full vegetarian menu!
Food was delicious! I could eat the panang curry everyday. The chicken was cooked to perfection. Also gluten free options for days and marked clearly in the menu :)
Mazevo is my favorite Mediterranean spot in Denver—on the best street, Tennyson. The staff is incredibly inviting.
The must-have here is the chicken shawarma. It’s typically served with warm pita, but if you’re celiac gf like me, you can easily sub it out for a dish of fresh, crisp vegetables instead.
Mazevo is the neighborhood gem I’ll always bring friends to
By far the best pho I've ever gotten.. we drive down from superior to get their pho because of how much we love it even though there's tons of places by us haha. We get their spicy vegetarian pho which is clearly labeled as vegan and gluten free. I've never had a pho like this before but it is soo amazing and full of flavor! A must try for sure. Their portion sizes are also decently big, me and my boyfriend share their large pho and its definitely enough for us. Anyways if you can't tell I'm obsessed with this place and hope you give it a try 😊
Thank you for giving us great food you can tell it's made with love ❤️
Tried this place for the first time for brunch and it was amazing! I loved the brown sugar cinnamon latte. The syrup is homemade syrup! Also the banana bread with espresso marscapone is out of this world. I’m newly gluten free and it is an awesome gluten free option! I also got the breakfast scramble and subbed gluten free toast but it comes with sourdough. The lemon poppyseed waffle the other girls at the table got was great too! I wanna come back for dinner. Highly recommend two hands!
The food is unreal delicious, but they can't get an order right to save their life, even if you specify an allergy. It's happened 3 or 4 too many times. The food is awesome, but ordering more than two dishes at once is just too much for them. I live across the street and would love to eat there all the time, but mixing up non-Gluten Free ingredients with Gluten Free ingredients is hazardous to my loved ones' health. Next time, I'm going to Chipotle, or Noodles, where they give a...
