The food was delicious and savory. The portions were great. I have Celiac Disease and the owner of the restaurant is very conscious about the condition. The staff is very careful with cross-contamination and the menu offers many gluten-free options from the get-go.

I was diagnosed with celiac a year ago and have not been able to eat out without it being super awkward. The experience I had at Girasoles made me feel comfortable and well taken care of. Chef Jose came out to visit my husband and I at our table and answered all our questions and was very sweet. He could make pretty much anything on the menu we wanted gluten free. If we asked for something not on the menu I am certain he would have gone out of his way to get it for us. Chef certainly loves what he does and we are blessed to have such a jewel of the culinary world near us. The prices were high but worth it because it wasn’t just the food we went for😁.

We brought my mom for Mother's Day. We chose to come to Chops and Hops because they had so many gluten-free options. We were seated immediately. My mom and I really enjoyed our meals. The food seemed to be inconsistent though. While my mom and I were very pleased, my daughter and husband were not. My daughter's steak was supposed to be medium-well. It was beyond well-done. Parts of it were inedible. She also said her sides were extremely salty. My husband ordered his steak rare, and it was cooked medium-rare. He also mentioned his sides were very salty. The wait for the food was rather long, so neither of them wanted to mention the issues with their meals even though the service was friendly. The restaurant was clean, and it wasn't noisy. People outside were using the reflective windows as mirrors, so we had some tableside entertainment as well.

We're trying out various pizza places around town to find our new "this is IT!" pizza place! My husband and I would both return to Fox's Pizza Den. For me, I'd come back in a heartbeat. I'm the picky one.. I like that Fox's has both gluten free and cauliflower crust options for those of us who are celiac or keto challenged. I love that they offered to make any pizza on the menu with Alfredo sauce instead of tomato sauce (nightshade allergies), and service was friendly and accommodating in every way! My spousal unit says he'd go back if I wanted to, but his Stromboli was a little chilly in the middle and the "marinara" tasted like plain tomato sauce. So, we're still on a quest to find the perfect pizza joint for the combined unit of us ~ the peculiarly picky + the family chef among us. But, Fox's is worth a whirl for any among you just looking for a friendly, fulfilling pizza place!
