We’ve loved this place for a long time but after today won’t be coming back.
My husband went in and ordered two pizzas. One standard and one gluten free crust for me because I have food sensitivities. Up till now we’ve never had a problem.
They took our money. Told my husband it would be 20 minutes. Pretty standard.
20 minutes pass and they tell him one is done but the other is still in the oven. He stands around for another 5 minutes before they then tell him actually they don’t have any of the gluten free crust.
Listen, we’re not mad they didn’t have it. That happens. We’re mad they let us wait knowing they didn’t have it and tried to lie about it at first.
They offered to give my husband his pizza for free but he doesn’t want to eat one in front of me. He asked for a refund. Didn’t demand his tip back and we left.
Front of house needs to be more mature in how they handle these situations.
The heated, enclosed back porch offers a cozy and inviting atmosphere perfect for enjoying a gluten free funghi pizza with scenic views of Bestie Bay. This Italian kitchen balances a lively energy with attentive service, creating a welcoming setting where gluten free options are crafted with care and flavor. The experience is rounded out by authentic espresso served in Lavazza cups, making it a delightful spot for those seeking gluten free Italian fare in a charming environment.

We had a very nice lunch at Vita Bella in Frankfort and were welcomed by the restaurant staff and the owners, in a nice atmosphere, on the closed patio. My husband loved his traditional quattro formaggi/four cheese pizza and we enjoyed the gluten free funghi version of our pizzas.
We concluded our lunch with an authentic espresso, served in Lavazza coffee cups, and are looking forward to returning here for more delicious food and a good time. Grazie mille, Vita Bella
