Looking for a great melted grilled cheese sandwich? American Melts off of Route 22 in Kennelworth, NJ is the place to be. easy parking, walk up to the window and check out the menu's multiple types of sandwiches they make. Start by creating your own if your not in a rush. Check out the Special sandwich menu that includes the Mac and cheese, Brie, Ruben, Big Tex and so on. You won't be disappointed. They even include Vegan options as well. You can order online for easy pickup and they're open 7 days a week. We love the create your own grill cheese process as well. The tater tots and Mac and cheese are pretty impressive to. Plenty of breads to choose from including "Gluten free" items. Highly recommended. Enjoy!😊🍽🥪🧈🧀🥓🍞🥖🤤😋

I learned about this restaurant from my old boss who is Indian probably more than 20 years ago. Excellent food. Neetu is great at navigating gluten free options. Lovely family run business.

Bottom line: impressed. Fantastic dining experience and cuisine. Gluten line: accommodating. Long line: A little disappointed that I haven't been here earlier. Absolutely delicious cuisine. Ambiance is romantic. Service was attentive but not overbearing. I'd recommend it.

Excellent service, excellent food, outstanding fresh quality of ingredients, very nice atmosphere. We threw a birthday party of 7 people here and it went off without a hitch. This is amazing since 3 of our party are very picky eaters, 2 had gluten free requirements, and one is a habitual complainer. All had positive raves about the food & service. I could not have been happier choosing this restaurant for a special occasion. Thank you La Griglia staff for making it special!!!!

Best Greek food in the area! Lamb and chicken dishes were delicious, as were the Greek salads. Best Greek yogurt I've had. Easily accommodated the gluten-free and vegetarian folks we dined with.
