I chose this creperie because I have celiac disease (gluten intolerance) to go eat with a friend. It is indicated on the site and the menu, certified gluten-free pancake, so I think it’s great! Arriving there, the menu is tempting and the cocktails too, we start to order but like every time I ask again for the gluten-free story. Very kindly, the waiter told me yes without gluten, however if you are celiac, the pancakes and pancakes are made on the same device... Total disappointment! I thought we were in a safe place for celiacs. Nothing else on the menu, I was offered to eat a green salad... Generally in other places, I'm always told, don't worry, we'll find you a few things but no... we could have offered to wash the appliance when making my pancake, they could have offered to decorate my green salad with a few ingredients, but no... so we went out without eating and were welcomed into the restaurant next door, who told me don't worry, we'll find you a few things. Customer service not great... too bad, I love Cancale..
Very well done and tasty dishes with interesting combination. Perfect location where you can view the sea going and coming and nice atmophere. Service has been excellent and there was gluten free options and bread!
Meal for 4 people, the crispy pancakes are a first. Succulent, being gluten-free the chef adapted for dessert. A homemade pear and frangipane galette with flaked almonds. I ate a sweet and savory pancake, for fans I recommend the “la grande vilaine” pancake
The interior is super clean and very well decorated. The waitresses are smiling and friendly.
We will come back with pleasure.
Decent pancakes and crepes. We regret that the list of allergens is not displayed (decree of 2015) and that the waitress is not able to bring a carafe of water and 2 coffees at the same time as the dessert as she had suggested.. .(not to mention that she confuses gluten and lactose). We left without having drunk the coffees... And when it came time to pay, they were surprised but still took them off the bill. We will not return to this creperie and only recommend it by default. (note that the photos posted by other customers correspond, especially for the label)
To answer you: still happy that you didn't make me pay for the coffees we never had!!! And we asked for allergens 10 times without your waitress giving us the list!!!
