Excellent welcome and a great place to recharge your batteries and have a wonderful time. The cuisine is excellent and varied, depending on the season, and especially gluten-free.
The service is fast.
I particularly recommend this restaurant near Amiens Cathedral.
Hello, I'm looking for gluten-free options in Amiens and comparing reviews. So far, Break looks fantastic to me. I just need to know if you have a dedicated gluten free area or how you avoid cross contamination?

I walked past the window, beautiful, the inside smelled good, the pastel pink very cute and even though the pastries and cakes look delicious, the price is NOT AT ALL. We don’t get less than €4 for a pastry. At this price, we say, the shares must be generous AND NO. As you can see in the photo, my Merveilleux at €5.60 (it hurts for the size) is at least half of what you can find with other competitors. Still naive, I told myself that it should be EXCEPTIONAL (given the price and size).
What was my surprise when I stuck my spoon in, the SOFT texture. There was NO meringue in my Merveilleux, I remind you:
“Le merveilleux is a small meringue cake originating from Belgium and also eaten in the North of France.” Wikipedia source
And don’t tell me that making gluten-free meringues is impossible! Yes, it was good, but no, it wasn't Wonderful and for the price it's definitely a ripoff.
A ball of a sort of chocolate mousse surrounded by dark chocolate shavings, I recall it at €5.60.
I won't be caught again.
If you like to spend your money in very small portions, go to Paris instead, you will have even more opportunities to spend your money in stupid ways.
Thanks all the same to the reception, but I don't think I'm the target audience.
The concept of the café is cool!
I went there with a friend one afternoon, we had an iced tea and a slice of gluten-free chocolate cake (I specify gluten-free, because if we don't tell you, you don't feel it! Bravo to the pastry chef!) and we shared this beautiful slice together!
We had a great time !
We will come back to taste the other cakes and drink tea/coffee (the waiter told me there were plant-based drink options, looking forward to discovering that!)
The waitress was smiling and pleasant!
I was looking for gluten free patisserie, but they dont have anything glutenfree so thats disappointing. I ordered coffee and pain au chocolat, but both were very bad.
I recommend Pokawa for their seriousness in terms of hygiene and respect for dietary constraints. My partner being allergic to gluten, the team took the initiative of changing their gloves and cleaning the work surface before making her order. The staff is pleasant, smiling and fast.
An establishment where you can eat delicious and healthy meals, delicious innovative cuisine with vegetarian/vegan alternatives
In addition to being a cozy place, it is a paradise for those who want to treat themselves with good products
Little extra: refined sugar-free cuisine, vegetable milk available, gluten-free, etc.
