Excellent service from the staff, Highly recommended
100% Gluten Free Coffee shop
Huge range of delicious cakes, blondies, brownies, cupcakes, cheesecakes including a wide range of plant based also!
You can order breakfast, brunch and lunch options from porridge, avocado on toast, panini's with a choice of gorgeous fillings.
it's absolute heaven! I am a regular here as it's just so refreshing to feel so safe and have such choice!
Delicious chips and some of the best fish I've had. And a fantastic gluten free range too, plus they have sausages for your dog too (he was most excited)
Had fabulous Gluten Free Cod and Chips from here. The fish was really fresh, cooked to perfection and piping hot. They have a dedicated fryer for the GF Cod and separate utensils for serving. Gluten Free vinegar was available and the meal was served with a wedge of lemon and a pot of tartar sauce. The staff are knowledgeable about Gluten Free and the boxes had stickers on them aswell 😋
We dined here whilst on holiday. I am gluten free and my friend is not. I had the gluten free haddock, chips and mushy peas. I am very happy to report that the meal was fabulous, the fish was perfectly cooked and the mushy peas are really the best I have had. My friend had the plaice and hers was spot on too. I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant for both gluten free and ordinary food. Very friendly staff too. Thank you for doing gluten free so well, we are not well catered for as a rule - we will be back.
Love this place. They serve the best gf onion rings and mushy pea fritters I've ever tried. My partner and I are both coeliac, so it was refreshing to see a whole gluten free menu. Either takeaway or sit down in the restaurant. Everything tasted fresh. It's a shame I live so far from here!
Whole separate gluten free menu, genuinely never seen so many options! the staff are so friendly, patient and understanding when it comes to being told about celiac.
Amazing chippy: good servings and the food was so delicious. Staff member who served me was very friendly and they also do gluten free on Fridays. Would go again 10/10
Brilliant service! The staff were very polite, efficient even when busy, and accommodating of both our dog (they brought a water bowl to our table) and baby (carrying my drink over for me). They were REALLY helpful and kind for my sister who has celiac disease and enquired about gluten free food (there was lots of options - GF options for most things).
I came twice during my holiday and both times my latte and panini were excellent. My family all enjoyed their food, too.
We sat outside and it was genuinely gorgeous watching the harbour and scenery.
Good quality Fish and Chips restaurant or over the counter service. Also delivered to the door service provided.
Exceptional service for a 5 year old coeliac for sausage and chips cooked all in own separate area.
Well done Pages you got this well sorted for the customer.
Next on list is to get the dairy free ice to top it off please.
They managed to squeeze us in despite being fully booked, which I appreciate. Really good gluten free pizza (tasted like a proper pizza!). The kids buffet is good value and a nice experience.

As a family we have been going to coronation chippy for years and their food has always been good. But on the last 3 occasions it hasn't been so good especially on Monday 14th April 2025 which is gluten free night and we purchased 2 gluten free cod and chips and gluten free pineapple fritter a battered sausage and a normal pineapple fritter which came to just under under £25. When we got home to eat it, everything was overcooked and hard. The chips burnt and crispy. The cod was mostly batter hardly any fish. And the batter was solid. The same with the normal battered sausage and chips. We ended chucking most of it away and was very disappointed with it. We hope it improves otherwise we won't be purchasing from here again.
I want to start this off by saying that was absolutely my mistake and not at all the tin cans!
So it was my second time at the tin can and I just want to say that I’m really impressed with their service! I’m not usually a review guy so this is saying something!
I have a gluten intolerance… it’s pretty bad and I accidentally forgot to order a gluten free burger. (It’s quite a recent thing so I’m not 100% used to it) and I received a burger with gluten bread.i instantly realised and went to tell them. Even know it was my fault they happily replaced it and were very considerate and accommodating. The head chef (apologies if I’ve got this wrong) Channing is an absolute legend and even gave me a drink on top. He gives out a good energy to the customers which really shows in the service.
5 stars!🌟
Amazing food, friendly staff. Managed to cater for me despite my large number of food intolerances, even going out of their way to check the ingredients on their gluten free rolls and desserts
We had a lovely gluten free meal, they had GF fish, chips, sausage, gravy, curry, and vinegar and the staff are friendly.
They have a separate area for preparing gluten free and on top of that, it's dog friendly! Just what we needed on a wet windy day camping with 4 kids and a dog 😅 happy coeliac

Lovely little hidden gem in Mold, mostly all menu items were able to be made gluten free for me. The gluten free waffle was incredible, the best I’ve had since diagnosis. Food did a little long to come out but we were enjoying to cosy and welcoming atmosphere whilst we waited.
Fantastic food, love how easy it is to order gluten free over the phone.... Really friendly staff and extremely aware of severe gluten allergies... Can't even tell its gluten free either, tastes fab :)
Eagerly anticipated visiting as states online theat they do Gluten free fish & chips. Queued up and confirmed Gluten free fish & chips etc on the menu board but when we got to the front we were told they no longer serve them and haven’t for months. So why is it still on their menu? Really disappointing. If you’re looking for Gluten free do not go here.

Lovely food, although I have tried to order twice on the days they offer gluten free and have been told they’ve turned off the friers so disappointed about that! Other than that it’s a great place to order from.
So good! Ate there with my partner and two kids and we all thought it was just like the food we ate on holiday. My family enjoyed their souvlaki, sausage and pitta and I had a mountain of halloumi, fries and salad. They catered for me being gluten intolerant and even make their own GF pitta. The kids had baklava for pudding which they said was delicious.
Make sure you go there hungry - the portions are huge!
Food was absolutely amazing ! My only problem was that when I arrived back to the holiday park where we are staying I realised that there was a large cod and a large battered sausage missing from my order , which as you can imagine was slightly irritating as it would have been too far to go back and the rest of the order would have been cold by then hence the missing fith star .
They do a gluten free poached fish option but would be nice to have a gluten free battered option as poached fish and chips just isn't the same as proper fried and battered British fish and chips .
Visited here for the first time yesterday. The food was beautiful, very friendly staff and we really enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant. A bonus is that they off a gluten free menu. We will be returning 😊
Exceptional Service at Merthyr Subway!
I visited the Merthyr Subway on February 24th and was blown away by the outstanding service provided by the staff. I requested a gluten-free roll, and the staff member immediately changed gloves, wrapped the tray, and oven with paper to ensure my order's safety. Their willingness to go above and beyond made my experience truly memorable. From start to finish, the staff member was incredibly pleasant and helpful. I highly recommend this Subway location for their exceptional service and attention to customer needs!
Thank you for having a gluten free menu for fish and chips !! Tried and tested and had no bad reaction, plus the batter is sooo good. Potentially better than the normal one, my partner said.
Had to rate 5 stars - mainly for the first order and experience, huge portions and cooked perfectly.
The 2nd time was only a bit disappointing as the fish portion was a lot smaller than expected yet still quite expensive (gluten free) .
Their chips are perfect though and now I know next time to get the normal size fish order..not small, cause it's SMALL
I ordered from here when I visited family in Wales. I told them I was coeliac and they said everything is fried separately and they made sure my food was prepared safely. They market the box with the gluten free food too.
First time trying this unusual takeaway. We weren’t disappointed. Loved the chips were made with potato skins on them. The pulled pork in a bun with salad was excellent. Packed with flavour. A real treat to be able to order gluten free and especially good getting a decent gluten free bun as well. Thank you. We will be back.

Picture the scene, my good lady wife and I are getting on in age, but don't tell the wife 🙂 on the way to pick up our prescriptions we passed the Ocean blue fish bar, for no reason what so ever my wife said,"Gluten free fish and chips" "I said what!! I've never heard anything like it in all my born days, I haven't had fish and chips since I was 18, I'm now nearly 70, we both decided not to eat fried food so we could live a longer life with clean arteries that don't resemble the inside of a car tyre. My wife went online checked out the cooking of said items and said,"wow, no lard, no dripping, shall we have some between us.
Covid rules applied, so on with the mask, hands sanitized in I went, three people infront of me, with a good 2m gap between us, I confirmed with the serving staff that the food was definitely gluten free, ordered our fish and chips then was given a beeper and asked to wait in the car which I thought was brilliant, minimising the risk of catching or spreading infection on to others.
Beeper told us come and collect, it was properly boxed and off we went, I have to say the food was delicious, the lightness of batter, nothing dripping in oil, beautiful.
Would recommend to all.
