I got the Cesar wrap and omg it was good! I would have liked a little less lettuce so I’ll order it like that next time so no biggie! The fries were also so tasty!! I’ll probably order extra cheese on those next time too cause I really loved the taste of them! Over all 5 stars even with what I would have changed! And to see that they have Gluten Free options? Yes!
If you are gluten-free, especially if you react badly, check your order. Out of 3 times, I've gotten a wheat bun, even when I stressed gf. Tonite, the team lead was really huffy (literally huffed) when I brought my hamburger back and asked him to fix it.
I think it is an app problem, but I could not order the gluten free bun on line. Friendly, fast service and yummy chicken. What you expect if you have eaten at very many other locations.
I'm happy with this place because they have gluten-free buns! It's hard to find burger places that have that. So, if you are gluten-free and craving a burger, go here. And their fudge sundae, oh my yum!
We drove 20 minutes across town to try Beef-A-Roo for the first time. My husband is gluten free, so he was excited to try their gluten free bun.
After waiting 10 minutes and spending $50 in the drive thru for our food, we drove home to eat. Should I have checked the bag before leaving, yes, but we had 2 hungry, screaming toddlers with us and just wanted to get home.
I was missing my sandwich completely and my “loaded fries” only had cheese sauce on them. They were missing the bacon pieces (I ordered without onions or ranch). My husband barely touched his burger and said the bun was dry, yet soggy from the grease.
On a positive note, the malt was delicious & my kids enjoyed their burgers and fries.
We will likely not be back.
We have two people in our group with food allergies (gluten, pork and dairy the worst of them). Usually you do not have to request server to change out spoons and to take isolated food from new containers from the kitchen. Nerves were frayed having food prepared from serving line. No illnesses took place but not a positive experience.
Worst Chipotle experience I’ve ever had. Was there for a graduation dinner with my family of 11 last Thursday night. Granted, it was late, but according to the other reviews, our experience is common regardless of the time.
We got there at 9:30 and were told they’re only accepting online orders (they close at 11). We thought maybe they were short staffed? So we ordered online. My parents and I each got 3 tacos and we also ordered two bags of chips and guacamole. While we waited, my sister in law tried to use the restroom, but someone had taken up residence, so anyone in our crew who had to “go” went across the street to use the Walgreens bathroom. The store itself was very dirty and disheveled. No napkins and no forks. When I asked if they had forks, they said they were out… Why a fork, you ask? Well, when our food came out (with flour tortillas instead of corn tortillas - I can’t have gluten; “they were out”), my three tacos were SMOTHERED in a very large pile of guacamole. You couldn’t even tell they were tacos and they were complete soggy. They tasted rough. Also…. We got two sides of guac, but no chips. Because… they were out (reviews tell me this is a theme here - apparently corporate doesn’t want a successful store in Springfield cause they’re always out of food). They sure charged us for them though. When my dad asked for a refund, they said they couldn’t do anything about it and to call the hotline in the morning. My dad then asked for the number and the employee said “I don’t know it - you’ll have to look it up.” 😑 The rice in my tacos was hard (also common?). There wasn’t a single order that was correct at our table. And the last order that came out, came with a bag of chips….
I really like Chipotle. If I lived in Springfield, I would never eat Chipotle.
Steer clear if you have a food allergy. I have a gluten allergy and asked the cashier if the Thai chicken salad was gluten free if ordered without wantons. She said "I have no idea." I asked "is there a way to find out?" She said "not really" (which I know is not true, as I worked in the fast food industry for 8 years). So I went ahead and ordered it, and after all that, they gave me a wrap. So I had to have it remade, and they didn't apologize for the mistake. All in all, a bad experience.
The other day my husband and I came in for lunch. My husband has a gluten allergy and Ava did a great job explaining which foods would safe for him to eat. I got my usual biggie bag and my husband was able to enjoy a burger with lettuce as a bun! Overall the food was good and the service was excellent.
