I’ve been coming to this restaurant for a few years and I love the food, atmosphere and the service here. I’m gluten intolerant, and they have really good gluten free pasta.

The atmosphere was very nice and the staff we encountered were all pleasant. It was a bit disappointing that the frittura mista cost $22 for such a small portion. Although it was really good, not sure that it’s worth the high cost for the small portion. I ordered the casarecce aromantica and thought it was a bit bland. I tried my boyfriend’s bolognese and it was quite good. I also tried my sister’s rigatoni russa (but penne for gluten free) which was also very good. The tiramisu was very liquidy which was disappointing. I’d give the overall experience a 6/10. I’d go again if a friend/family wanted to go there but I don’t think I’d go back on my own volition.

Had a large group during a slow period, so we had lots of attention from the server. Found the service to be above average on the whole and very hospitable. Food tasted great and they were able to accommodate a gluten free request of one of our party members. Great GF crust, very fluffy and similar to a normal crust.

This is a neighbourhood favourite . It’s been around for a very long time! The food is excellent and good quality. The blackened salmon was delicious. The cauliflower could have been cooked a tiny bit longer but that’s my preference. I have a gluten allergy and had a lot of options to choose from! Will definitely return.

We enjoyed the fixed dinner menu which had great choices and was a very fair price! The risotto was our favourite (my boyfriend had the tagliatelle salsiccia which was well done just not "AMAZING!"). The orange polenta cake was gorgeous and on a vegetarian & gluten free diet I still had so many choices. Cocktails were beautiful and unique also. We will be back!

If anyone is looking for an amazing dining experience, La Luce Ristorante is where it's at... We celebrated our Parents 60th Anniversary at La Luce and we absolutely loved everything from the food and service right down to the table decor!!... La Luce has a fantastic food selection offering set menus with great choices and gluten-free and vegan options.. We had a gluten-free person in our group and it was very refreshing that La Luce takes dietary restrictions seriously... All the food was excellent and it was beautifully presented as well... The service was very efficient from start to finish and the Staff was very pleasant, attentive and courteous... A special shout out to La Luce's Event Planner Carmelina Vinciguerra for all her help with the menu and table decor!!... She was an absolute GEM with her friendly demeanor and great sense of humour... I was very comfortable with Carmelina where I felt like I've known her for years... Carmelina knew the menu well and offered great recommendations and her beautiful table decor, which included personalized menus, exceeded our expectations adding a special touch to our dinner... Kudos to the entire Team at La Luce for making our Parents very happy as you made their 60th Anniversary Dinner very special and truly memorable!!... We'll definately be back!!... Ordered some food for a large event. Delivery was on time. They had gluten free sand dairy free options for guests. The chicken parmesan and porchetta are delicious! I would order again from them

A wide-ranging Italian themed menu. Absolutely everything I’ve eaten there has been excellent: beef, lamb, fish, pasta, vegetable cooked to perfection. Friendly, unpretentious service. Offers summer patio, high-backed booths, bar, and event room in the rear. Vegetarian and gluten-free options. Lots of parking.

Sandra catered a milestone birthday party on June 7, 2025 for 26 people in East York. The food was delicious! The order was for Chicken Parm, Grilled Veggies, Baked Penne Bolognese, Foccacia and a mixed appetizer tray. Sandra also accommodated our gluten-free guests. All of our guests loved the food. The pricing was reasonable and the portions were generous. The delivery was on time. Ordering through Sandra was a pleasure. The delivery person was so helpful. Thank you Sandra's Kitchen!

My family and I went yesterday for Winterlicious. It was delicious. They were very accommodating to my gluten sensitivity. I had the beet, goat cheese salad which was delicious, the main course was the lobster, shrimp pasta, which they substituted for gluten free pasta (for an extra charge). They serve Gelato as a palate cleanser between courses which is delicious and desert they gave me a Pavlova which wasn't on the winterlicious menu. They closed at 9pm but still took our 8:30pm reservation at 8pm. Pleasant experience.

Went here a couple of times and I only have good words to say. There are a variety of sweets and pastries and each time I go, I pick a different one and I loved all of them. The pizza and sandwiches were also very delicious and freshly made. I love that the bakery has a 100% almond flower and gluten free section, which I rarely see in other bakeries. Staff is friendly and the environment is always clean and well-maintained. Prices are okay considering the quality of sweets and pastries, however I think the lasagnas are overpriced. I never bought or saw such expensive frozen lasagna in other bakeries! Will definitely come again 😃
