A true pearl for those with celiac disease, but not only. At the Locanda Nord Est I found a special welcome and a cuisine that makes everyone feel included, without compromising on taste. The fresh gluten-free pasta, homemade by hand, is simply spectacular: it's hard to believe it's gluten-free, it's so good.
The risottos are also excellent, creamy and well-balanced in flavour, perfect for those who love traditional cuisine done properly. A place that takes care of every detail, where you can return with pleasure - and total serenity - even for us celiacs.
Sometimes choosing a good pizzeria is difficult, but this evening we found a pizzeria also for celiacs that deserves a đź’Ż.
The pizzas are really special and the owners are really good and very knowledgeable in giving advice.
I don't want to convince you but you have to go and try it.
The place is called the pizzaria, via Varese 60 in Gallarate

I would have liked to give 5 stars just for the fact that they have a separate, entirely gluten-free menu, which is really appreciable, but I think the prices are excessive and the taste didn't make me say 'I'll definitely be back', good but without that something more.
Maybe the prices are in line with the general increase that is happening everywhere and in any case we pay for being in the central, pedestrian area of Gallarate.
The least expensive sandwich is 15.50 euros without a side dish, I took a Marea with salmon tartare, songino, stracciatella and avocado cream. To consider 20 euros sandwich + chips. The sandwich is good, well filled, the avocado sauce perhaps with too much lemon.
Furthermore, I consider an 8 euro spritz excessive, considering that I am already having a meal and paying 2 euros cover charge, that is a price I would conceive in a bar.
Despite everything, I still give the 4 stars to reward the fact that there is choice for celiacs and the basic idea which is beautiful; It's the price that makes you think twice about returning.

Fake gluten-free pizzas. The pizzas with gluten-free dough are cooked in the oven with the other pizzas, as declared by the girl over the phone. Not good for celiacs, even if they say the opposite.
At Ciro's we enjoyed delicious, tasty and digestible pizzas, made with excellent ingredients (there are also wholemeal or gluten-free pastas) served very quickly and always with a smile, despite the place being packed with customers, inside and out! Congratulations to everyone for their high professionalism.
We recommend booking, especially at weekends.
Cozy place, very nice terrace. Prices more than honest, given the quality. We'll be back!
