Had the pleasure of eating lunch at Brothers 2 Restaurant on a day trip to Summerside. It was a bit of a wait to get seated (they had just had a busy lunch hour), but once we were, the service was fantastic. Charlie was our server and was friendly, attentive, and efficient. I ordered a burger on a gluten-friendly bun with a side of mashed potatoes (some of the best mashed potatoes I've ever had), and the rest of my dining companions had the lunch-sized fish and chips. Really good food. Would definitely return!
Food is great but they keep messing up our orders. I always order pad sew, extra spicy. Sometimes I get extra spice, multiple times gotten no spice at all. Sometimes I get gluten free noodles I didn't ask for. Pay more attention guys.
We went in for the all you can eat sushi.
I told the server I'm gluten free. She gave me gluten free soya sauce and my own tablet so the kitchen staff know that everything I ordered has to be gluten free.
Very friendly staff, quick service and great sushi
Could be a lovely spot. It's right on the water's edge, and the view is lovely, but everything else leaves something to be desired. After being pushed by the server to "just choose something to drink," my fiance ordered the spinach dip, with the seafood Linguine, and a flight of beers to drink since he wanted to try them all. I had the chowder, with the Lobster roll, and asked for them to be gluten free. Our apps came out pretty quickly, but my chowder had 2 Baguette slices on the side of it. We called the server back and asked if they were GF, and she said said no, as if it was a stupid question. My fiance took the bread from my bowl, and we ate. Luckily, I am not that sensitive and cross contamination doesn't usually make me sick. The apps were fairly good, but didn't seem to be very fresh. Our mains came before we were even halfway through the apps. My Lobster roll came on 2 GF slices of bread, with a leaf of Lettuce and a fair helping of Lobster filling. My fiancé's Linguine had a thick tomato sauce that wasn't warmed all the way through, and several cold peices of fish, scallops, and mussles. We tried our mains, and I found mine to be truly tastless, and my fiancé said only his noodles were warm. I had to add more mayo to my roll because it was incredibly dry, and my fiancé couldn't even finish his meal, saying that it tasted like it was made yesterday. Our sever stood at the front of the room, on her phone, and we had to go get her any time we needed anything. When it was time to pay, she had her back to us, scrolling on her phone, talking to one of her co workers. The co worker finally pointed out that we were there, and our server brought over our bill.
I came here with my husband and son while staying in simmerside. I am gluten free and their menue had options so we decided to try them. Its located inside their sports arena that was connected to our hotel. They have a "storefront" in the arena where you can purchase quick foods and they have a sit down restaurant area through the doors. We went into the restaurant and where greated at the door. The staff was friendly.. We were seated almost right away. There are quite a few gluten free options and some vegitarian options. My husband ordered the haddock fried in butter served with potatoes and veggies. He absolutely loved it. I ordered their vegitarian bowl with avacado, corn, rice, lettus, black beans. I cant remember the name of the dish but It was delicious. My son ordered fish and chips. He loved the fish but left most of the batter. Food came quickly. Staff was fantastic. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Hearty, tasty breakfast! I enjoyed the eggs and potatoes fried with onions. Great friendly service. Giving 3 stars solely because my eggs, potatoes, cold gluten free toast and OJ cost $20.00... bit much for a diner in my opinion but my friends really enjoyed their breakfast!
