Lovely pub in a great position. Went there for Monday lunch, they were still serving good despite it being mid afternoon when we arrived. Service was quick and friendly and the food and drinks were good quality and very good value for money. They had a gluten free (NGI) menu as well as a vegan one, both of which had multiple options to choose from. A great little pub to walk to, with wonderful views. Also had some outside seating which I imagine it's wonderful to sit at in the summer. Also had parking.

A medical appointment found me in the vicinity and what a wonderful place. I am gluten and lactose free. My mum is gluten free so we went here for pizza as they say they cater to people who are gluten intolerant however when my mum asked for what she could have they asked her what pizza she may want then came back and only gave her one pizza that had toppings that would be ok for her to have also it is a premade base that they use for the gluten free pizza. Also they treated my mum like she was being alot of hassle asking about the gluten free options if you say you help with dietary requirements please don't make people feel like they are too much effort when they ask questions about it.
