As I'm ceoliac my partner took me to miller and carter as its certified gluten free. It was only once we'd finished our starters were we told they didn't have a designated fryer so did I want the fries!? I'd have preferred to be told this when I ordered as I may not have stayed,boiled potatoes are no substitute for chips! I also shouldn't have been given the option, ceoliac means no gluten, the server should have said we're sorry you can't have them, it felt like my illness was being trivialised, it's not a fad i cant pick and choose!!
The lunch set menu isn't great for ceoliacs either and no horseradish sauce,very poor service for somewhere that's supposed to be clued up.
