Hands down the absolute best gluten free fish and chips around! As a celiac myself I always get super anxious eating out so it’s really important staff have a knowledgable understanding, they have a separate frier and utensils and have always gone out of their way to make it stress free for our orders. Our favourite chip shop ever! A absolute must try! We love supporting you and returning for our takeaway treat nights! Thank you for accounting for us gluten free folk! P.s your curry sauce and gluten free batter is hands down the best around!
Visited twice; 15th February and 17th March.
The Lounge is my go to place to eat! Affordable, relaxed and family friendly, and most importantly, my dairy free and gluten free intolerant body can USUALLY actually eat delicious food!
In February they forgot to add my avocado to my all day breakfast and I didn't realise until it was too late, but the Truro restaurant kindly added it on another day for me (as she was a staff member from Falmouth).
In March, after eating THREE veggie breakfasts over February in *three different Lounges* this one came with some paprika looking powder sprinkled over the whole plate. It must of had dried onion or garlic in it because I was in so much pain I nearly cried. I tried to walk it off, and ended up having my worst ever traumatic experience on a public toilet, it was so bad I was tempted to email the council to apologise.
I will eat here again, but I will make sure there has been no changes to the dishes.
Had a lovely meal but disappointed I had to pay extra for a gluten free base which is not very inclusive to those with medical conditions. The services however was excellent, lovely staff.
The food was great, we ordered two gluten-free burgers and two regular ones for lunch and they were all very tasty. The staff was so kind and helpful and the place itself is very comfy, with great views and well-located.
Very busy, but the staff worked hard to keep the throughput going.
The food was vary good.
Also, they handled our gluten free meal very well.
Seriously impressed.
The hot box is to die for!!! I'm a coeliac and the staff put my mind at ease immediately seeing how clean their kitchen was and how seriously they took not cross contaminating. Delicious food and lovely vibes
Absolutely love going here. Food is awesome. Service is great. They offer gluten free options for my partner who is celiac. Well priced. Staff are very friendly and remember us each time we go in.
The Beach House in Falmouth gets a big thumbs up from us, especially regarding gluten-free needs. My partner has coeliac disease, and they were fantastic. Clear menu, confident staff, and most importantly, a delicious and safe gluten-free meal. No stress, just good food with a great view. Highly recommend for anyone needing gluten-free options in Falmouth!
We were looking for some lunch in January and luckily spied the specials board on the wall. A great find with brilliant food and excellent friendly service and they catered sensitively for my gluten free requirements. It's not obvious from the outside that they do more than coffee and cake though, maybe a lunch menu in the window?
I went to Good Vibes on Saturday, and my dad who is gluten free had the 'best soup ever'; I had the most amazing beans on toast and my mum really enjoyed the toast and compote. The coffee, the staff and the atmosphere really added to a nice family lunch, and we can't wait to go back! Really can't recommend GV enough!
This is an absolute gem! Staff are super friendly and helpful and the selection of food that can be done gluten free is fantastic. A great range of beers and some nice alternatives if you can't indulge in their Verdant tap range - which I am told was great. Highly recommend checking this place out- you won't be disappointed.
Our local favourite, brilliant toasties (gluten free catered for) & even better salad bowls! Will miss them in the winter.....but then there's always the soup.
100% recommend a visit even if just for a coffee & spectacular cakes!
Super friendly staff. I'm gluten and dairy intolerant and they catered to my dietary requirements really well and served me such lovely food! I actually had choice also, which is rare with my intolerances. Both times I've been here I've had a lovely time. thank you 😊
This is a lovely place to eat and has a great view. They have a lot of gluten free options and some nice drink options too. I went here for my boyfriend’s birthday and the staff were very helpful and friendly. They kindly helped me surprise him with a cake and even sang happy birthday which I did not expect but was absolutely wonderful.
Absolutely amazing space and all of the staff are incredibly helpful and kind. As a gluten free vegan, I know that I can be a nightmare to cater for, but nothing is too much effort for these guys. 100% recommend!!
Incredible experience at this fantastic restaurant. Loved the stories behind each of the dishes. Nice ambience. Food was delicious. Great duo of a waiter and chef running the place. I have a gluten intolerance and husband has a shellfish allergy and the chef accommodated this despite it being a set menu. Would definitely come again.
The best restaurant in Falmouth! All the food was extremely full of flavors and prepared with love. I also enjoyed a homemade cake (it was difficult to choose, because the selection of homemade cakes is huge).
I also really liked the fact that vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and halal dishes are clearly marked on the menu.
And the service deserves special praise, because the entire staff of the restaurant was very friendly and attentive to me the whole time.
I will definitely come back again!🔥
A little backed up for coffee orders, but otherwise pleasant with a beautiful view of the harbour. Gluten free options were restricted to toast though I'm told some days cakes are available. There seemed to be a variety of options for vegan and vegetarian (as well as oat and soy milks for coffee) but seafood, unsurprisingly, was the star of the menu. Would strongly recommend sitting outside if weather permits.
