Celiacs: beware. this is the 3rd time this place has let me down and I am officially done. This time I paid for food that isn't even safe because they refused to give me a refund. Last time I ordered GF breaded chicken pizza. The chicken didn't look right so I called before I ate it to ensure it was the GF breaded chicken. they assured me it was. I was sick for weeks following that. This time? I walked in to pick up my order. They cooked the pizza in the same oven section as the gluten pizzas, despite me labeling my order as Celiac. Then the guy cut the pizza - he grabbed a cutter that was sitting in a tray of gluten containing pizza, rinsed it off in the back, came back out with it wet, wiped it dry on his dirty apron, and cut the freaking pizza! then put the cutter on a tray of gluten pizza, realized he didn't want to leave a GF cutter on a gluten pizza tray and then moved it to a shelf above where he cuts. I WILL NEVER go there again.

I have Celiac Disease and consistently frequent Jersey Mike's because it is known to be a safe space for those with allergens. The worker behind the counter refused to use ingredients in the back, claiming that he didn’t have any. He told me that by 8pm each night, they have nothing in stock and that I can’t expect them to accommodate me. I am really disappointed, I’ve never experienced this at other locations. He also went as far as continuing to dispute whether or not other stores would accommodate my dietary restrictions while my husband begrudgingly finished his sandwich order. LAME.
Update: I went to a different location last night around the same time and the staff cut me fresh toppings for my sandwich, saying it was no issue at all - that it is the standard for those with dietary restrictions; especially those with gluten allergies.
