My family loves Fratelli’s since they offer so many options, including gluten free breads and desserts. We like the breakfast bowls and the sandwiches.
They have a dedicated gluten free fryer for French fries. They also have gf buns. The service was quick and polite, and the dining area was very clean. When we left staff were cleaning the chairs and tables, top to bottom. Literally, they were on their hands and knees cleaning the rungs of the chairs, all the way to the seat backs. I've never seen that in a restaurant before.
Situated in downtown Apex, this branch of FRESH. has a great ambiance with open windows in warm weather. The people serving ice cream is great too, letting us know we can have several scoops regardless of the size we get to try the flavors which I appreciated; there were such great options I was spoiled for choice! The ice cream is rich, creamy, and flavorful. Highly recommend for anyone looking for artisan ice cream and to support local business! Non-dairy and gluten free options available.
Johnny's Pizza offers a satisfying pizza experience with a range of delicious options, including a gluten-free crust that doesn’t compromise on taste or texture. The pizza is flavorful, with fresh ingredients and a perfectly balanced crust. Service is friendly, and the atmosphere is welcoming, making it a great spot for a casual meal. Whether you’re gluten-free or not, Johnny’s has something for everyone.
DELICIOUS GLUTEN-FREE PIZZA !!! Yup you read right, I actually had to ask my husband if he was sure he ordered gluten free. Great taste and texture.
We ordered delivery and it arrived way sooner than they had said, delivery guy was super professional and kind.
My husband got the half sheet pepperoni and I got the cheese gluten free. Sorry I only got a pic of mine and of course my husband had already had given it a “ quality check bite” 🤦♀️
His was delicious like always but it my first time getting the gluten free and is blows any gluten free pizza in this area.
The small, hometown feel with the big city flavors and level of food excellence are encompassed at Anna’s! Our meal comprised delicious wings and *the best* gluten free pizza (Anna’s special) I’ve ever had!
We prefer this location to others in the area because they sweat the details. My husband is gluten free and dairy free, so this is important. Plus, their food tastes good and they serve it when it’s hot.
My friend and I checked this place on our way back to Raleigh. I was excited since the whole place is vegan. Sadly, they don't have many gluten free options though.
I was told the Taste of Ethiopia and the Falafel were my only options, so that's what I got. My friend tried the Yeero and a side of fries. The dishes were all large portions and good flavor profiles.
The service was very friendly, helpful and accommodate, as much as they could be with my gluten free dietary restriction.
While I'm happy that I finally got to check this place out, the lack of any other gluten free options makes it difficult for me to say I'll be back though.

Lana was a delightful server. The gluten free pasta is delicious. Highly recommend the bar drinks, pasta, and chicken piccata. Tip: skip the steak (it’s a little chewy).
This might be my new favorite spot to eat. Come hungry because you're going to want to eat everything on the very creative menu. We started with cocktails while we waited outside with the dogs for our table. Cole behind the bar was a technician with the drinks(thanks again for the suggestions). Everything that we ordered was delicious. Also the gluten free options were sooooo good. Don't skip on the apps or dessert. William was a perfect server and the manager(I think Katie?) was such a sunshine of a human to talk to about the menu. Only wish I had taken photos, but I came in starving!
I have been quite harsh on the service, We have previously had better experiences, but today the service was awful. I could tell the server was uninterested, my wife who is more easy going on these things, turned around to me and ‘said she’s not interested in helping us’, I knew we were not in for a good time. The food was served reasonably quickly and was fine, warm at best rather than hot. But as we all know, atmosphere and service are important. The restaurant was quite empty yet we were put at the back and at what I would say was the worst table in the restaurant by the kitchen and right by stack of chairs. The waitress Didn’t smile at all and was completely unattentive.
They only sell simple filter, coffee which is a surprise. Very limited gluten-free options, and an almost distained attitude towards GF from the server. The young lady on the till was not a lot better. I would go again but hope to see a smiling and engaging server.
We've ordered online probably 10 times now. I have a gluten issue, and my husband has a lactose issue, so accuracy is really important to us. Rudy's calls if there are any questions, and they never send "whatever" in place of. Also, they have THE BEST fries and ranch!!
Our food was delicious, the waiter was so kind and informative, and they seemed super thoughtful and aware of dietary restrictions! The waiter specified that there are gluten-free pasta substitutions available, and that they cook the gluten-free pasta in a separate pot to ensure no cross contact.
My partner had the bread and wild boar ragu, and he was absolutely blown away. We can't wait to come back!

posting from my mom's account....
Me and my girlfriend visited the restaurant last night. It was amazing. service was great, food was great, atmosphere was great. the staff was very aware of my gluten allergy and made sure i didn't eat the wrong thing. highly recommended
The food was absolutely bursting with flavor! They have dishes from every region of Africa and most are Gluten-Free. I was already familiar with Ethiopian food, but to try something new and delicious was a culinary adventure! The owners are super friendly and helpful. This is now on our regular restaurant rotation.
Good sandwiches, can be made dairy or gluten free upon request. Has one of those Coca Cola Freestyle machines with the crazy amount of choices, both individual drinks and added flavors for each. Iced tea dispensers for the less tech savvy. Had a turkey sandwich with lots of toppings. Was very tasty and came with choice of chips and a drink (had the combo). Offers the expected NY deli vibe.
We had quite a bit to order as we were bringing food back to a large party. The workers were kind and patient and made sure to let us know that the meatballs in the gf netball sub were not gluten free. I had the tuna salad sub for the first time and was pleasently surprised. I ordered on gf bread and it tasted great! I imagine it tastes even better on regular bread
We came in to eat with 18 people. They let us set 4 tables outside together. It was wonderful. Out of all the different meals we got no one left disappointed. Duck was delicious, curry— yummm, Ramen broth was so good— I didn’t care for the sweet corn in there and wish there was more pork belly (just one small piece), the dumpling appetizer was a hit and the bonchon chicken wings. The kids ate up the chicken fried rice. Loooove that they have gluten free options— my friend who is gluten free finished her plate. We’ve found a new favorite place in Apex!
Wonderful food and atmosphere. The wait staff was also great. They offer gluten free options including gluten free hamburger buns which were very good!
Homemade corn tortillas were really good. We went there around 4:00 pm and had the food served to our table in under 10 minutes. Our server was very knowledgeable about gluten free choices. I still wish restaurants would mark their menus for vegetarian (v), vegan (vg), and gluten free (gf) all the same. Note that the chips are not gluten free.
Wish I could give more than 5 stars. They go way out of their way to avoid cross contamination with the gluten free subs. It's really kind how thorough they are. Made my day!
The restaurant is well located with plenty of parking. Done in was like a ghost town but they were doing a lot of take out. It took a few minutes to get seated and be waited on but once we did the process was quick.
While individual items are not marked the menu notes that gluten free options are available. Our server was very knowledgeable of what was gluten free and what could be modified to be gluten free. I’d say 2/3 if the menu could be made gluten-free. When they food came out he confirmed that the dish was gluten free when serving it and a gluten free note was on our bill. I got drunken noodles and they were super tasty.
For those that also need to watch dairy be aware that they use regular milk/cream in addition to coconut milk in their curries.

Not only were they out of all Mac n Cheese, an essential for the company and probably the most popular dish, I ordered buttered noodles instead with gluten free pasta shells and grilled chicken as I have celiac and I’m allergic to gluten. They gave me *mostly* gf noodles with multiple normal noodles mixed in filled with gluten, but they also gave me parmesan crusted chicken instead of grilled, which is not gluten free. I started to eat some before I realized and had to throw the rest away and will most likely be having stomach issues tonight. It’s worth the trip to Crossroads instead of Beaver Creek. Don’t go here.
Check this out! Gluten free cauliflower crust pizza, don’t you just want a bite! I had a craving for pizza the other night and was tired of the frozen GF pizza so I decided to give Marco’s a try and sure glad I did! Delicious, slight crispness, very thin crust and lot’s of cheese. Many thanks to the cook who prepared that pizza, it was perfection. I sneaked a piece in the car I couldn’t wait! Ok, a couple pieces. It only comes in the small size but it was well worth it. I went to the one in Apex in the Publix plaza, a tucked away slice of heavenly pizza joint sure to delight anyone’s tastebuds.
Gluten allergy and server wasn’t very helpful. I asked about the safety of 2 different dishes that she didn’t know the ingredients for but said they probably aren’t safe. She didn’t seem to want to be bothered to check so I settled on sushi and she brought something I didn’t order. I opted to starve. I was just frustrated and chose to eat at home.
Nothing like getting home with your order only to open the bag and find your gluten free bun and a perfectly segregated regular chicken patty. I double checked to make sure both were in the bag but silly me, I didn’t open the container and check the chicken. I live 20 minutes away so I’m certainly not wasting an hour to go make it right. Great job, CFA. My dog is loving you right now as he gleefully eats his chicken while I make a peanut butter sandwich. I won’t be back.
The food was phenomenal… the server Michele was so friendly and over caring about my gluten allergy . My fettuccine Alfredo was so good 😊 and my husband couldn’t finish his chicken parmigiana. The portions are so large . What a gem 💎 this place is .
I have been here atleast 5 times now and absolutely love the food! I am always looking for gluten free options and they have them too for example Makki roti and Pakora. Will be coming back soon, God willing
