Delicious and reasonably priced small plates leaning towards American/Mediterranean cuisine - you'll want 4-5 for every 2 people. Amazing variety of gluten free dishes (not so much for vegetarians). Great wine and cocktails. Great chill ambience with good music, not too loud for conversation. We hear people come from Charlotte to eat here, and I believe it. Went for dinner on a Tuesday and every table was full.

What an amazing business! The staff is so kind, the shop is clean, and the atmosphere is next level! Their ice cream is delicious and the mocha I ordered was the perfect blend of chocolate and coffee (some places try to pass mochas as hot Hershey's in a glass). My friend went in a few hours later and got a Cheerwine cone and she received the same stellar service I did! They also have gluten free goodies.
Being gluten free I seldom eat at Cookout except for milkshakes. Today I decided to try a burger with no bun and discovered it’s totally delish. I get a cookout burger covered with slaw and chili add mayo. I had no reaction and enjoyed my meal a lot. I’ll go back.

Love the atmosphere and city take out vibe. The outdoor seating is great! The tacos are my favorite. Only 3 dollars each being very affordable and gluten free cause they are corn tortilla. Be careful the green sauce is spicy if you can't handle the spice. I'd love to enjoy it more less spicy. Order one of their house drinks. They had horchata, pineapple, lemonade.

Gluten free was decent but from freezer not ready when ordered. One employee was unhelpful to customers and other employees. Need better help...

Yall this place is SO UNDERRATED. Staff were super nice, was only $10/person and food was great and gluten free options! I am shocked they weren’t busier since this is such a good buy and was so good!
When you walk in they have 3 small buffets on the right side one with salad, one with pizza, and one with hot food. They also had a mini table with cookies and bread on it.
Salad items was romaine, carrot, tomato, onion, cucumber, potato salad (one of the best I’ve ever had) , broccoli, cantaloupe slices, eggs, parm and motzarella cheese , and homemade dressing in little plastic cups.
The pizza was tasty according to my husband whom was able to eat it (I am gluten and dairy free)
On the hot bar was spaghetti, meat sauce, eggplant parm, cheese ravioli, chicken chunks, pork chunks, this chicken/potato/pepper/ potato thing that was so good, and these meatballs that were to die for!!!
I appreciate so much that there were gluten free options with the chicken and meatballs being breadcrumb/ flour free. Everything was super good and fresh.
The place was not crowded. We got there at 11:30 and out by 12:30 and total was 6 tables and a whole other side of the restaurant was open and empty. This is not due to quality I think it’s due to lack of advertising, outside signage, and the front of the restaurant looks less welcoming. And open to pull people in so I def wanted to do this review to get more people in there as I will def be back! Try them out for your next Wed-Friday lunch.
I did confirm with them that they are NOT open Monday/ Tuesday/ Saturday/ Sunday and I did update the hours in google.

Ordered a Regular Chicken Bacon Ranch mikes way from this location and waited for it to be made. I noticed when I got up to pay that my sandwich was noticeably larger than a regular. Though the cashier was prepared to ring me up for at regular price. I pointed out that it couldn’t be my sandwich because I ordered a regular and not a giant. Cashier opens the order up to confirm it in fact was my order just on a giant sized sub that wasn’t gluten free. Not a big deal though, I go ahead and pay while I wait for them to remake my order. The order is remade and then they ask me to pay for a second time…….im starting to see what the problem is. I open it up before I leave and it’s not mikes way and there’s no ranch. I get them to fix my sandwich again and leave. Go across town to the other jersey mikes.
