So new location not far from the old location but way better ambiance here. Loved the open and rustic feel. The coffee was amazing and the sandwich with gluten free bread was gone before I could take a picture.
This place was amazing. The wonderful gal made a special batch of gluten free pancakes for my wife. Everything was delicious, we made the right choice!
This is definitely a locals hangout even though it is right next to a motel. We found it quite amusing to walk into a cafe at 6:30 am that was full of elderly white men, sporting a wall of veterans memorabilia, and playing 1970's women and black power anthems. We had eggs, potatoes and coffee, which were the best gluten free options. (The waffles looked great, but there were no gf options.) Our server was fantastic, the food was standard breakfast fare, and it was fun to get the small town Americana locals vibe.
This place deserves all the good reputation it has. The food is delicious and very affordable. The place is kid friendly (we went with our 4 kids and they were very patient). They have gluten free options for several plates, which are even suitable for celiac people
100% recommended!
This is THE place to get plant-based/vegan food in Klamath Falls and the whole surrounding area, but also just THE place to get food. Hungry? Come here! A few other places have vegan options (which they often don't realize they mess up by cooking in lard or using products that have whey/eggs/honey, etc.), but everything here is vegan, plant-based, AND free of common allergens. You can't beat the prices either!
Even if plant-based is not usually your jam, try Terra Veg. I'm not vegan or plant-based, and it is my favorite restaurant in town (also by far the cleanest place for eating out). I meet non-vegan friends there for lunch often. I crave their food weekly if not daily - must be nourishing, and it's definitely delicious.
The food is SO tasty and full of life! Great, filling portions. And you have to try the dessert, no excuses. Each day they have different options, and they are all sooo good! Gluten-free, dairy-free lavender Earl Grey cake on a Tuesday? Yes please!
ALSO they have a food pantry and community library and offer cooking classes...such a gem of a place!
Food was good, but I think they changed brands on their gluten free muffins because recently they've been very dry and flakey. Otherwise the food is good.
We really enjoyed our experience dining here. The service was friendly, the food was hot and delicious, the atmosphere was cute and cozy! Very impressed. They even had a yummy gluten free options for my celiac challenged mom. Try the hot wings! Spicy, crispy and so good!
Very small compared to other Black Bear diners we have been to. Not celiac friendly. I didn't get sick from the eggs and bacon but I've had better safer conditions with management help at other locations.
They are very friendly and have a large menu. The waiters and waitresses are good about finding out what dishes have allergens in them and which ones can be made gluten free. I've never gotten sick from eating here, the selections for people with a gluten allergy are limited but the ones they have are wonderful!
The food and staff here are always amazing. And the fact they have gluten free options so my husband can have pasta is wonderful. I had the spaghetti the sauce is delicious and not heavy, my husband had the prime rib and said it was one of the best he's had. They have a huge selection of gelato and it's worth indulging. Love this restaurant.
