With my wife being a celiac it was important to find a place that can serve food that is gluten free as well as prepared gluten free. We were a group of 4 and all of our meals were great. Our server did a great job at ensuring the kitchen staff were aware of the gluten allergy. Overall everything was great. Many thanks
I love this place! Gluten Free Thumb Prints are on point! There breakfast sandwiches are to die for and the Espresso Milkshakes are worth drinking during a snowstorm without cold weather gear!
Great atmosphere. Very comfortable. Me and my husband sat in a booth, it was private and nice because we could see the tvs that are above the bar. It was entertaining. We had a wonderful romantic dinner. Service was excellent. Food was delicious. Only downside would be I wish they had more desserts to choose from. We got a gluten free brownie with strawberry sauce which was good.
I was staying at a hotel near their location, so I walked over to see if I could get a take out order. The Manager (Miriam) kindly explained that they only accept online orders. I told her about my need for Gluten Free options and she patiently reviewed the menu with me, noting the items I should avoid. I used my phone to place an online order. Their online menu system is easy to use and I was impressed by the number of options. The food was ready in less than 15 minutes and it was delicious. Everything was very fresh, the portions were ample and the cost was very reasonable.

I stopped in at the Camp Hill Noodles and Company and asked for a salad and gluten free mac and cheese. The person who took my order said I needed to order a chicken caesar or mediterranean salad. I said can I just have a salad with no chicken and nothing spicey. So I watch her put like a hand full of lettuce in a bowl, it maybe came half way up, then a sprinkle of grated cheese. I asked if that was all that was going in the salad. The reply was yes this is a chicken caesar with no chicken. At lease they could have added some more lettuce. Another person turned around and said that was my choice. I said I didn't want it, honestly I couldn't see paying nearly $8 for a handful of lettuce. She gave me a refund, but it is a shame they didn't have the autonomy to add a few extra ingredients to appease a customer. I took the gluten free mac and cheese and left. Then when I went to eat my mac and cheese it wasn't cooked thoroughly, yugg. Outside of the shell was soft, but center firm, almost crunchy.
My daughter and I are visiting PA all the way from Louisiana. We blindly chose First Watch for breakfast because the reviews had pictures of fancy drinks. Best choice ever! A small wait, because it’s so popular, but well worth it. Brittany was very familiar with the menu and offered help with gluten free options. Even though the place was packed, the food came out hot and fresh in minutes… And it was delicious!
Love checking out new places... and this one was worth the stop! The wind break patio with heaters had nice wooded views, but being semi enclosed, the man smoking there was too much for me to take, so we dined inside. High back, padded booths gave this restaurant a night lounge feel. The waitress was super knowledgeable with all the special dishes not listed on the menu, which was amazing since there was quite a few!
We ordered the crab cake entree and a special dish of habanero sauted shrimp over rice pilaf (originally over angel hair pasta, but subbed in rice to get a gluten free dish). The crab cake was good and the shrimp was AMAZING!! If the shrimp dish was offered all the time, I would definitely be stopping back for it. Perfect spice and the flavor was simply delectable. I couldn't eat the dinner rolls, so I cant speak on them too much. However, the looked great and my husband, who doesn't usually care about the bread served said the one he tried was great- crispy outside and chewy inside.
Overall, not our typical atmosphere for a restaurant, but we we're so glad we tried this place out!
Quality family italian and pizza staples in unassuming and relaxed atmosphere. Full bar, home made wine and gelato. Definitely kid friendly a few gluten free options too.
Cute little family-owned, friendly mexican restuarant. Food selection was good and menu items were as expected for a mexican restaurant. Had a few shrimp options too.
Flavors:
We ordered chips and salsa and beef enchiladas to share. As typical of central Pa, not a whole lot of spice- they definitely know their typical demographic that will be eating here! The flavor was great though, just as one would expect.
Did not ask if seasonings and such were gluten free, but the enchiladas are made with corn not flour.
Would stop in again if in the area
Very fresh ingredients. Very conscientious regarding gluten free order. My son wants to eat dinner here today too(we had lunch here). Highly recommend.
I have a gluten allergy and was told to come here for a burger. They did everything right! Changed their gloves, cleaned the whole work station and the same person from start to finish made my food! The burger was absolutely the best burger I’ve had in a long time! I ordered food for other people and they bagged my gluten free order separate from the other food. 10/10 would recommend and will definitely be coming back. Good job guys!!!
