Cantina is always my go to restaurant especially in the city! The roasted chicken tacos are always my favorite! They have so many gluten free options too! The service at the bar or if you are sitting at a table is always amazing! The manager was very informative on higher shelf tequila and helped our group out tremendously! Super super popular, reservations recommended! We had a large party and we were able to get outside seating with a short wait. Inside would have been a lot longer. The only reason I gave 4 stars was one of our party had to send back a steak for being overdone. We had to wait a bit for our food, but it was reasonable considering how slammed the kitchen must have been. Very friendly and accommodating service. We had a party member who has a very restrictive diet, and they were able to serve him easily. Plenty of gluten-free options!

If you are vegan or vegetarian don't go here. Went in and ordered 20min ago. Service was fast. There was next to no options for people on a vegan and vegetarian diet. Considering you make the food to go there should be way more options for customers. I've only been to a Chipotle one other time and it was a lot more accommodating than this one. They had nothing but meat and products cooked in meat to offer. This is disappointing as your competitors like Moe's at least offer a variety of toppings and subs to replace dairy and meat. Yet chipotle is seen as better than Moe's. Not sure how when all they have is rice and black beans to cater to dietary restrictions. which is surprising given you're located near several college campuses which means thousands of people with different diets yet you only offer meat and maybe 2 other selections. If you want to compete with restaurants in this area you need to offer actual alternatives for plant based and gluten diets. Definitely waste of money and won't be returning

Instead of a cake my daughter requested an ice cream bar for her wedding reception. It was a wonderful idea and was a hit. There was no need to stop the reception to cut the cake and many of the guests has gluten allergies. This hidden gem of restaurant was one we just happened to stumble across while site seeing on foot downtown. We didn’t make a reservation, however they were kind enough to fit us in. The menu had some interesting items ranging from different countries surrounding the Mediterranean but having the kids with us meant pizza all around. We went with the gluten free crust on both pizzas and we left with our stomachs happy and full. Brought my dad here for his birthday. Not my normal haunt and we didnt have reservations (eek). The hostess, Anna, was so kind and sat us in the bar area! (Thank you for helping me avoid a crisis Anna!) My dad had the filet and I had the seabass and mushrooms. The food was great! On top of that, our server, James, was knowledgable and welcoming. I have celiac disease and it's really difficult to dine out. We really liked the food, atmosphere and service was pretty good. I am Gluten free and I was very impressed with all the options. We ordered birria tacos- delicious, a burrito but came out as a bowl- steak was fantastic, rice and toppings very flavorful, and the taquitos-these were good, big chucks of chicken inside.
These were the bad- the men's restroom was very dark (blue light only) kind of sketchy, the register in the front didn't seem to work so our credit card was gone for a bit trying to run it, our bill (which my husband never checks before paying) was almost $10 more that what we thought. The lunch prices are not what we were charged- ex. side of guacamole was $8 not $4, cheese & street corn were $5 not $4, burrito was $3 more than marked.
We would still go back in the future when in town. And we would definitely recommend the house margarita too.
