Equator Coffee Kanata

Great tea selection and gluten free options.

I was so excited to hear about Equator opening in Kanata having recently moved to the area and there not being a lot of offering within my immediate Kanata North vicinity. I've been buying their coffee for about five years now and stopped having caffeine about three years ago and I can honestly say that Equator is the best decaf I've come across in my decaf coffee travels. Unlike Starbucks which uses a chemical process for their decaf which you can actually taste, Equator uses the water process to decaffeinate their coffee. Service can be slow at the cash. I've been there where people have walked out while waiting in line because there is only the one cash. Love the gluten-free date square but I hope that they bring in the gluten-free brownie that they have at the Almonte cafe. It is the best GF brownie!
