Basically a new restaurant, we loved our experience at Van Acre. The cocktails were on point, the service was great, and the overall dinner was a 9 out of 10 (hence the 5 stars). My wife had the gluten-free pizza and it was the best she'd ever had. I had the shank, which was perfectly prepared, beautifully presented, with great and innovative sides. They still are working out the "newness", but don't let that stop you from coming in. Wausau needed a place like this!
