New owner (Raj) has really outdone himself! The new layout is beautiful—a fun, fresh vibe for sure! Food is still delicious, lots of variety (the gluten free fish n chips are AMAZING!), and the staff are very friendly. Will come back for sure!

Read the reviews about the gluten-free fish and chips, and decided to check it out for a date with a Celiac girl. We were blown away, crispy batter, moist tender fish, house cut fries, all in a quiet, tucked away little spot with plenty of old school diner/pub themes. Will definitely be coming back.

Our experience at Foodbox was stellar! We chose to dine in as it was not a busy night. We were greeted by the co-owners spouse who was very kind and enthusiastic. The food was great. The fish and chips were delicious and the calzone was also good. When we went the menu was still being ironed out as these are new owners. The gluten free pizza was good but could be a little less crispy. The place was overall fun to go to. If you’re in the neighbourhood give them a try. They are a beautiful Canadian based business and we should always support local. My message to the owners is to bring in more whole food that is gluten free. Label your menus accordingly and ensure your staff understand food allergies.
