Just recovered from food poisoning after a night of throwing up 🤮 and a whole day of wooziness. Ordered the Arepa Del Campo and checked it was gluten free. Upon arrival I noticed the guacamole was cut (no avocado chunks and a bit too thin). That was the red flag I should’ve acknowledged.

We ate at Arepa Co in Bethnal Green with eight people. The food came quickly, was fresh, and super delicious. It's great that they also have a large selection of vegetarian and gluten-free dishes. The waitress was also very helpful with our questions about gluten, and the staff asked us several times if we had celiac disease or intolerance, and they always pointed out the possibility of cross-contamination – great! The staff was also very friendly, and the atmosphere had its charm. Unfortunately, there's a DJ on Saturdays during brunch, which was rather distracting for us because the music was very loud. Our favorites are the cocktails and the buñuelos from the all-day menu, and the cachapa del campo as a main course. Both are highly recommended and super delicious! We'll definitely be back! ---------------------------------- We ate at Arepa Co in Bethnal Green with eight people. The food came quickly, was fresh, and delicious. Absolutely delicious food! Took my friend because she’s a coeliac and this place caters to gluten-free. But everything was amazing - those sauces were really special, portion sizes were huge and the staff are super friendly.
