Our last experience was great at Blanco. That is largely due to the OUTSTANDING service from Kacey. She really was on her game. She’s very personable, she knows the menu well, she was able to guide us through gluten-free options, she checked on us at just the right times to see if we needed anything (drinks, more chips, etc.), and she was just warm and a lot of fun to have as a server. We’ve had a service issue here once or twice before but that is not an issue with Kacey as your server.
It certainly doesn’t hurt that the food quality is so good. Sometimes you don’t realize it until you’ve dined at another Mexican restaurant how good Blanco is, but here is an example. I rarely notice the quality of chips and/or salsa, but after dining at a different Mexican restaurant and then Blanco after that, it is clear how great both the chips and the salsa are here. Fresh, warm, crispy chips. Salsa not runny but not so thick that can’t maneuver it on a chip, flavorful, and just the right spice level. Queso don’t even get me started, it’s great, a show-stopper, and you just need to order it. Absolutely love the pork Chile Verde enchiladas but other enchiladas are great here too, as are the tacos. We don’t often get guacamole here either but when we do, it’s fresh and delicious.
We will definitely return.
